Kokoroyume chapter 1 . 2/19/2012 Nice story ;) Thank you ! |
xelectrogirlx chapter 1 . 2/1/2012 This was perfection. I absolutely loved it, can't believe I haven't found it before now, it's the sort of fic I'm always looking for! The smut was brilliant, I know it's difficult to write Sherlock but for what it's worth I think you got him right (but then I do have a thing for anxious, inexperienced Sherlock, lol) Well done, great job! |
frecleface chapter 1 . 1/13/2012 Okay, so I'm gonna split this review into two parts since the first and second halves are kinda different. 1: Sherlock's thoughts. This is one seriously brilliant character study. It not only feels very in-character, but it also goes on to expand on how the man is about feelings and what they do. I love the way you constantly refer to his body reacting to certain things as simply "the hurt", not to mention how much his heart warms up as the story goes along and he comes to accept his feelings for his flatmate. No, sorry. Best friend :) It's very touching, and the final seal when John comes home was particularly sweet. Especially since even though Ben is constantly very deadpan all the time, I could totally imagine him sort of breaking down at that moment. Great job with that. Oh, and another thing: the way you wrote out the scene with him spying on Irene and John was very nice, and I liked to see that vulnerable side of old Sherlie, especially in regards to John's words and how much they pierced into his soul. And just his inner reactions to some of the more remembered/famous lines. Just amazing. 2: The smut. Now, I'll admit, I wasn't really paying attention when I clicked this thing, so I didn't notice the M rating. So when the smut showed up, I was very surprised but at the same time very intrigued. The fact that it was so spontaneous and that both men acknowledged that they had no clue what they were doing was also a nice touch. I also liked the language you used, and that it didn't lose its formal vocabulary or descriptiveness once it all started. The last couple of lines were also very sweet, and I found my mind going "aww" at the very end. So top-notch writing for your first S story! Definitely worth the time I spent reading it. I regret nothing! :D |
sherlockandjohnwatson chapter 1 . 1/8/2012 This was absolutely brilliant! Your first story, too? You did wonderfully :D Please keep writing, you have a great talent :) |
OrangeZest100 chapter 1 . 1/7/2012 I don't really ship this that much, but this is how I imagine the relationship would come about. Good job! |
Lawliet's Angel chapter 1 . 1/7/2012 A nice, in-depth character study. I like how it follows Scandal before and after. Well done! |

Angst Is My Middle Name chapter 1 . 1/6/2012 Well you might not be too sure if you're happy with the smut, but I sure am. Loved this. Very nicely put together and thought out. |
Paralelsky chapter 1 . 1/6/2012 Hey! I have to say that the part that I enjoyed most about this fic was the first part where you describe the ambivalence between what Sherlock feels about the Woman and what he feels about John. It's very strange because I was thinking the same thing, and I actually put it in a fic that I'm currently writing, though a different setting for the same revelation. I'm also thinking that it's polite to tell you, and maybe ask permission to upload something that might contain ideas similar to yours, as for my next update, but rest assured that I will not be stealing your lines. Anyway, it was a great fic and I thank you for sharing it with us. Have a nice day, Paralelsky P.S. My story is called "A study in alternatives", and you can check the next update to see that I didn't copy/paste anything. I have too much respect for my fellow fanfic writers to do that. |
SuspiciousFlower chapter 1 . 1/6/2012 You have made perfection out of words. |
eccentricalice chapter 1 . 1/6/2012 You turned my brain to mush. In a very good way. |
