This was certainly 'bite-sized' chapters as you called them, but since I'm used to longer chapters, I thought of them as short, but nonetheless I enjoyed the ride. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I can't help myself but feel a bit sorry for James here, but I also think he handled that situation quite well.

And I'm a REAL hard ass for stories. The short chapters actually worked, the perspective and retelling of events I have memorized through countless play throughs connected, the development of Kelly in your own way was believable, albeit a bit spartan in the details; dialogue: interesting, perspective: ideal.

Hell, you even followed through on Liara/Femshep which is as close to religion as I care to go.

But Sajuuk?

Higarra?

REALLY?

Oh well. It might have been better to just leave it as the last piece of some unknown, ancient race. Let's not even discuss how Sajuuk was in the galactic core, same general neighborhood as the Collector base.

Meh.

The good far outweighs the bad, but it did yank me completely out of your tale.
Anyhow, that's my thoughts. Feel free to critique the hell out of my ME work.

I've often thought it would have been like for those stuck inside the slurpee tubes on the Collector Base. The fear as they watched or heard others be turned to mush around them. Who was next? A game of waiting ... and praying.

It's good to see Kelly actually developed as a character, rather than just a flirty secretary.

I totally... and completely... AM IN LOVE with your Shepard... that is just my kind of hero i'm telling you.

heh if you love em as well, you should check out the Walking Dead tv series. its character Shane, is completely like that... only he doesn't have the benefit of a therapist, and uhhh... well anyway he's a lot like your Shepard, but without the same... pull on people, the same... inexplicable... method of... drawing people in to follow.

Echo's arrogance fits in with Javik in ME3. Well done on capturing a prothean pre-ME3!
