This hurt my feelings...

This is so lovely, so gentle... and so very Disturbing as a result. I think it's mostly because, at the end of the tale both Thor and Loki are so... so calm, so matter-of-fact about the whole thing. They just... that's it? That's all?

From reading the comments others have left, I gather that this fic is an exception to the general flow of fanfics featuring Sleipnir, which apparently tend to be angst-ridden and rather cruel, but I haven't read any of those.

This was sweet - as I hoped/expected - but also sort of...heartbreaking.

This is probably the most curious yet pleasing fanfic I read. There are so many out there that make it as if Loki had Slepinir taken away forcibly or somehow it traumatized Loki himself/herself/mare-self. In this case, it's the opposite and we do get to see a very gentle, polite, and peaceful side of Loki and his son. It's what I think makes this fic so good on its own. Out of all the angsty ones out there, this one actually provides the semblance of familial peacefulness that one needs after a while.

That was lovely. I think I most enjoyed Sleipnir's bravery. He is quite the courageous colt, he is!

ah, finally I find a good Sleipnir and Loki story. All the others I've found either have Sleipnir as a shape-shifter (which isn't so bad) and taken from Loki by force. Great work. This wasn't weird at all.
