Wasted no time scurrying to my computer to read some of your Symphonian babies (and some of your profile, but who's counting?!). I've never really thought of the whole interaction between Yuan and Lloyd; when I think of Yuan, it's usually Kratos, Mithos...and occasionally Raine...who come to mind. I like the line, "What would Lloyd, son of the nearest thing he had to a brother, have been to Yuan?" The last line, too, brings back to mind that image and all those special splicing effects floting by with close-ups.

Mmm. Nicely done, requiring no dialogue but getting inside one character's mind - the character you wouldn't expect. Lloyd has never been just a shadow in a story, but he is here, and it's a pretty neat twist.

This was an absolutely beautiful piece. The relationship between Lloyd and Yuan is often overlooked and the way you played Yuan's thoughts was very in character. You don't see a lot of OVA-based FF, and it's wonderful to see one of its better scenes captured like this. I hope to see more of its likeness!

I really enjoyed it. Perfect description and explanation to that fighting scene between the two of them. Especially when they did seem to flow effortlessly in their fighting together.

The comparision you have Yuan draw between Lloyd and Kratos' fighting makes sense and definitely gives light to how Lloyd has developed as a fighter.

The conflict you have Yuan go through is perfectly in character as well. His brief hestiation, then 'cold-hearted' decision to go through with his plan, definitely reflects the essence of Yuan's character as a whole.

I'm glad I read this one-shot and I hope you post more stories in the future. Good fics are becoming rare, so I was pleasantly happy to managed to find this one. Keep writing and thanks for the wonderful little fic.

Okay, gotta review becuase this is actually a decent fic. Which God knows there is a massive shortage of. The writing and descriptions were good, and the characterization was too, from what we saw. I enjoyed the trip into Yuan's head and everything seemed in character and possible :) I liked, and I hope you write more sometime. I'll definitely read more :)
