You've captured Kate's vulnerability and her fears so beautifully. And Alexis apologizing...and Castle realizing that his secret could still threaten their relationship...

And yes, I'd be interested in seeing what happens when Castle's secret comes out. I'd expect there'll be fireworks, and not the good kind.

Really, really nice. I liked how they danced around it for a while (the ILY was just 'it') but then he actually put it into words again. Sweet ending, and more in character than if they'd just fallen into bed or something.

And might I compliment you on your grammar/spelling? Great job, and so nice to read. Either you have a beta, or excellent proofreading skills.

Companion piece? Sure.

I liked the way you did this. I know this fight/conversation is going to happen. (I think it's one of those things weighing down on her and she can't move on without telling him, like her moms case) And I feel as though her confession of being afraid he didn't mean it, will ultimately defuse the bomb inside him, of being so angry at her for lying. I also like that you didn't put a kiss. Only because I have read fanfics where she says she's not ready, and then he's all swept up and they kiss and everything. which is really a contradiction. if your not ready you don't kiss. But the kiss on the neck was good.

This needs a companion piece - Not only because I am curious, but because you kind of opened up the possibility with his thoughts on what this could do to her when she finds out about his continuing the case on her own. I'm normally to afraid to read that particular struggle these two have. It's silly really. I get so scared at the thought of it, like I will be when it comes up in the show. The ramifications are terrifying... I mean..we should all know by now that it will tear them apart for a while. In the worst way so far.

(I'm secretly scared that they will get together this season, and then all the lies will come up and rip them apart at the end)
