You struck a good balance between stoic and caring, and between Dick wanting to be strong on his own and being willing to open up. I like the emotion you evoke in their conversation.

I love your stories for young justice! I think you have a nice understanding of Robin and Batman. I was actually wondering if you had ever thought of writing Robin/Nightwing in the second season as he takes on a Batman-like role. With Batman at the alien trial, I imagine he took on the cowl, but as a leader for young justice he asked a lot (of Kaldur and Artemis) and planned (mainly the blowing up the mountain) that involved putting aside emotion. What do you think he'd think on of how well he played that role?

Anyway it has been a while since I've seen the show but I loved your stories and thought I would maybe give you an optional story/idea to think on. Awww! This are, like, the cutest and most heart-wrenching one-shots I have EVER read! I swear. The scene with Alfred was just PERFECT! And about Dick's insecurity of how Bruce feels... totally original! Please, do another chapter soon!

I wanna let you know that this story is the best in the West, the "awe" in awesome, the frosting of the cake, the color in a black and white world, sweeter than candy itself... should I go on?

This goes so well with that episode. It is a good behind the scene's conversation. It was an awesome episode and Batman and Robin's fight scene (along with the Supers) was amazing. And the line in your story is so true: "And, I know it was the mind control at work, but, Bruce, it was really terrifying. You are so...terrifying when you don't care." The ending where Dick problem with Batman's emotionless expression really shows the reservation and hurt he probably felt about fighting his mentor. Fighting someone he cared about who would hurt him because of mind control is a frightening scenario. The ending where Bruce assures Dick he cares is sweet. Blunt (as is Batman's nature) but very touching. So if you couldn't tell from the long review I really liked this chapter!

Aw, this goes so well with the newest episode. The fights with Batman and Robin and Superman and Superboy were epic.

I'm glad you wrote this because we got to see the conversation with the two Supers after the fight, but not with Batman and Robin. So, now I feel satisfied. :D
