pistonsfan75 chapter 1 . 9/22/2015 Loved it! |
sailormoonserenity99 chapter 1 . 1/31/2015 Ancient Chinese weddings are defiantly not like that. And realistically speaking I don't think anyone would dare ask the emperor to perform a wedding ceremony. Attend it yes, but perform it, defiantly not. Other than that, good story |

queenofwaves chapter 1 . 10/20/2013 Oh that was so cute! I liked that idea of Shang having a guardian ;) And naming the girl after the guardians! So nice :) But the chinese weddings weren't similar to the christian's ones... Well but it's forgiven for you've written here a perfect romantic one-shot ;) |

aurora-inked chapter 1 . 12/21/2012 Hey, A lovely story! Just for extra info: A Chinese traditional wedding is usually very loud and features red and gold as a prominent colour (it's considered for good luck). The bride is brought to the groom's house in a carriage (like, one held by several men, not horse-drawn) and she's veiled. The groom and the bride then bow to the shrine where the groom's ancestors' tablets are located. Afterwards, they serve tea to the in-laws and go sit on the bed where the friends and family would sprinkle rice (I think) or hide a few boy toddlers to wish them good luck for a boy heir. So yes it's basically very loud and noisy. Nowadays many forgo this and just get married in a church. The tea-serving ceremony is still performed today. |
