This chapter could be a stand alone in and of itself. It is simply beautiful. I've always thought the Doctor might have gone to her as a child even if he couldn't change what happened.

I must again say how much I LOVE this story. This chapter, with all its revelations, beautifully tied it into something warm and comforting, filled with past hope and future serenity. And I'm very very much in love with this. Just so you know, this is totally canon to me. It has to be, it makes *sense* 3

Ooh, this is fantastic! It also makes a lot of things make so much sense...of course the Doctor would find her, somehow, and that would explain why she was always sort of in love with him a bit, not to mention how she figured out who her parents were.
