A great ending to a wonderful story, I really enjoyed it. Thanks for allowing us to be swept along by this story and follow its rises and falls as it journeyed along. You seem to have captured their characters essence, and I could 'hear' their voices as I read. I would love to read more in this 'universe', if you decide to write another one, but I'd also like to read more of your other stories too!

I was wrecked because I stayed up till stupid o'clock reading this story from start to finish! Awesome!
Just one little observation...it seems like the girls have their special connection with Steve but their connection with Danny isn't explored or talked about. I just feel like Steve gets all the 'glory' and Danny kinda gets taken for granted because he's the one that's always there. True to life I suppose. I always feel like we pay so much attention to the men and women who serve with the armed forces defending the country that we downplay the fact that it is the men and women of the police force that ensure they have a country to come back to. (Something that maybe Grace has kinda forgotten too)
Whatever, I'm sleep deprived. Awesome, awesome, awesome!

For one tiny second I thought that Steve should have turned Avery over his knee for the way she crushed Danny. I'm glad Gwen is not going to be a part of Avery's life anymore. I also liked the apology that Avery gave to Danny.

I'm glad they finally realize that Gwen is bad news, however I have to admit that I am a bit disappointed that this is ending so soon after Steve gets home. I look forward to any new stories, you are a great author.

Avery and Grace pretty much acted like typcial teen girls-extremely emotional, sometimes irrational but also loving and kind and smart. And I liked that both girls had such wonderful relationships with thier dads and that Danny now realizes that Avery loves him every bit as much as Grace does and as much as she loves Steve.
