That bookstore scene was absolutely perfect. I love the way Kate opened up to Castle like that. That definitely meant more to Castle than any material thing would. Please tell me you're going to make this a two-shot. After all, I'm not sure he signed the book. I think it would be awesome if you wrote a chapter of them going out to dinner and Castle signing the book.
