I just love how Mal's taking it in stride. River, just acting like it's the most normal thing in the world. Also, the bit about Jayne and werewolves and the airlock. "A Captain's gotta draw a line somewhere, after all."

Yeah, definitely not a good idea to have a werewolf and a vampire on the same ship. They're like to cause all manner of trouble with all their feudin'.

Hopefully Book was...hmmm, can't really have a Shepherd vampire...maybe an elf? Fae of some sort, anyway. And he'll catch up later.

this. is. so. freakin'. FUNNY. :DDD i'm making this head-canon, cuz Wash shouldn't have died. just - no. he should've lived, and that's my stance and i'm sticking to it. the BDM was perfectly fine except for the fact that he and shepherd got killed, so in my mind, they didn't die.

and this is a very nice and funny and amazing way to counter-act the heinous crime of killing off my favorite character.

thank you for writing this. it's more light-hearted than the others of yours i've read, but you work just as well in humor as you do in drama (actually, the comic relief in your other stories was something i loved about them, too. your writing in general is just amazing. :)

This is too funny! Love the line about having to chase them half way round the 'verse. That also wold explain why he was reluctant to have children...he can't. As undead can't procreate. Hmmmm- winder when he became a vampire - maybe he fixates on dinosaurs because he misses his pets! LOL
