Oh my gosh this was so amazing!

I really liked this. The first part displayed everything about Rory I missed at first (the loyalty and backbone basically) and I could picture Matt Smith perfectly. The descriptions of how his face would subtly change and hint at the darkness and sadness within were brilliant. Even though he didn't say a whole lot about what he was thinking, you could still tell. I love how the last line kind of implies that the title of the episode - at least in the Doctor's opinion - was about Rory and not himself.
Second chapter was my favourite though. It was a perfect summary of Amy Pond in about 800 words. In fact that paragraph in the middle about how she felt bad for unknowingly taking advantage kind of him did the job. Amy isn't perfect and although she loves Rory, she's likely to get distracted, but she will always come back to him. She was the girl who grew up with everyone thinking her mad so, even with all her confidence, she never really considered someone as utterly normal as Rory loving her. She was obsessed with a fairytale that wasn't, but fell for the normal boy who wasn't.

Well done! I love Rory and it's so wonderful to read a fanfic about him. This was very well written and I love how you went back and talked about Rory and Amy when they were younger. The ending is perfect. Great job, I really enjoyed this!
