The cliches of romance just fit these two so well, don't they?! Miscommunication...devotion treasured but self-perceived as weakness...self-injury in the name of making a point!

And yet...the message comes through. They're individually broken, used to wearing masks and being the Detective and the Playboy that removing the masks conjure up horrible scenarios where their love is their undoing. But it doesn't matter because they finally see! Guess old dogs are entertaining after all ;P

Uh-oh!the most interesting and endearing idea,having rick type up his thoughts and have Beckett read them 'by accident'.

I believe that despite her feelings for him,she often disregards how certain issues could affect him and hurt its because she is hurting so nich herself as not to see it,or if she simply doesnt believe she could be that worth and dear to anybody,i dont know,but my heart often gora out to rick for that. This fic is great because in a very originál and interesting way shows Beckett that other side she is so unwilling to acknowledge.

Hmm,would live to read those other letters as well and see her reaction to that...maybe sometime in the future,where he wouldnt feel that vulnerable towards her about these events anymore,would she suceed in persuading him to let het read what he's once written, so we could see some serious rick-hurt/comfort...*gah*could have been great...*hint hint* ;)))

I have to say, the idea of Kate reading scenes from Castles laptop that he wrote about her getting shot, but are actually scenes that YOU wrote in previous stories about her getting shot...brilliant!

I am continually impressed with your stories - the characterizations and internal dialogue are so revealing. Getting inside a characters head and learning their true thoughts and feelings and motivations are what I truly love about reading and writing and you are a master of using this method to paint a picture for your reader. Thanks for writing. I am always glad to see when you've posted something.

You have a special gift with words, I love reading your fics. You have a great understanding of Kate's character; its great how she can be with Castle, but yet not lose sight of who she is... that she can still be herself with Castle. (Oops now it's like a blanket review, because I'm referencing her character from Dash Away).
