Oh I have always loved amy's confident declaration that Rory is gay. It's so sooo ironic :) This was hilarious and very well written and charactarized.

Amy's definitely going back and forth between denial and cluelessness here, though that definitely explains why she said what she did in the flashback scene in the episode. I love the backstory you've given for that. What a relief that it was all straightened out eventually. I also like the subtle clues from Mels about her perspective on all of it.

Haha, I laughed so loud when Amy said Rory was gay! The look on his face was priceless! This is a great wee back story. Amy/Amelia is very in character. Standing up for Rory like that is exactly what she would do.
