I really like this. But it hasn't been updated in a while?

hello. i just read your story in one go and enjoyed it very much. i know the last time you updated it was long ago, and sincerely, i'm not even sure if you still use this account. but if you do, i just wanted you to know how good your story has been so far. i loved the characterization of dante and nero and i loved the slow and detailed pace of the plot. it's a pity you stopped continuing right at the most interesting point, but i'm a writer of fanfics too and have left many stories hanging as well, so i know what it feels like. anyway, this story deserves by far more attention as it gets. if you ever decide to write again, i'll be following you along. :)

Are you done with this story? That's too bad, it is an amazing piece of work... *sad* I might actually love this more than Twilight, I never thought that would happen!

I love how you're not just casting off Kyrie like she doesn't matter. She meant too much to Nero in DMC4 for that. I also think your take on what happened to Nero and how he got his devil arm is extremely interesting and plausible. But how did he get Sparda blood? And why did the Oder choose him? *laugh* I'm just full of questions... One last thing then. I know Dante and Nero feel a connection, but is it already attraction or is it going to develop into it? I'm hoping for the latter actually. How it gradually happens before they realize it.

Adele? Are the chapter named after songs? The way you described autumn and Nero's first experience of it was simply beautiful. Seems like that infection in the Devil Bringer has spread pretty deep if it didn't react. Luckily Dante was there to lend a hand. ;]

Is there a connection? I don't know whether Vergil's involved, but even Dante seemed to recover okay, at lest on the outside, after Temen-ni-Gru. I'm really wondering what could have happened... Fantastic chapter~

Another great chapter. It seems I'm going through and reviewing all of them...almost. Loved the interaction here. But is it post or pre DMC2?

Huh, what Nero was wearing doesn't sound like his DMC4 outfit. Did you pick a design from the concept artbook? I like it. But poor Nero, memories will always have a bittersweet sadness to them, won't they?

BTW, are you using your memory or your own game as reference for their characters?

I love how this isn't all "Kyrie's a total bitch to Nero, nevermind her character, but after she lovingly accepts him she's gonna do a total turnabout and want him dead for being a filthy demon that killed Credo, which is gonna break Nero's heart so he goes pathetically crying to Dante who turns out to be gay and completely in love with him and goes off on Fortuna before smexing Nero up." You're making them actually in character! That last scene between Nero and Kyrie was true, but it just isn't enough anymore, no matter how much they want it to be. The aftermath of a fairytale ending. It isn't always happily ever after. Damn, Nero needs to be allowed to let it all out or he'll blow up with all those teenage emotions bubbling up underneath. Everyone's expecting way too much from the kid. I think he needs to vent on a stormy night with Dante over some hard liquor, tell him what's going on in his head and how he feels. I'm pretty sure both of them can only do that if they're somewhat tipsy.

This story is great, I totally love it! At first I thought Dante was being totally OOC, but then I realized you trying to explain why he acts how he does in DMC2. You should probably include that in bold somewhere for those that don't catch on. ;) Anyways, hope you update soon. This is really good~~

Sure he's thinking of the past but Dante is the one calming Nero while he sleeps...I love the warmth implied in this chapter. It brings a soft sort of feel to the overall story.

Oh, poor Nero. The Order is awful; why do Credo and Kyrie let them get away with it? :( Write more soon! :D

Poor Nero... thos dreams are like torture... I was wondering, also, what will happen if Kyrie and the rest of the Order discover that Nero is staying with the red hunter (I mean, he escaped from the island; I'm not sure that anyone would go and try to get him to come back, but 'WHAT IF...').

And I'm sure that the warm sensation Nero feels is Dante's touch and presence XD...
