the 'she isn't a fighter' thing makes no sense. cats that have barely learned to walk will claw at threats. animals don't practice fighting the same way people do. especially predators. and cats more than others instinctively claw and bite to kill to eat, to protect the food, fight over territory, for rights to a female, and other reasons. the quilites might refine their skills, but the fact is a cat has 5 dangerous limbs to the wolfs 1 as their paws claws just aren't made for cutting and ripping. as a wild predatory great cat, bella should in fact be VERY dangerous regardless of emmett's supposed skills. you've set it up so it sounds like bella shifts into a large harmless domesticated housecat. but even if she turned into a housecat breed, wild housecats are a literal extinction level event when first introduced into a new ecosystem. they can fight animals 5 times their size and win. cats have been known to run off full grown bears. I've handled wisconsin outdoor wild housecats, and they are a solid muscle. small yes, but a killing machine that can and will run off and fight and kill foxes and coyotes and even a lone wolf. logically if bella really has been wild and outdoors for years, maybe decades, then she should be an accomplished fighter. nature shows no mercy. the bigger question is whether she is as fast as vampires. whether her teeth and claws and reflexes are on par with the quilites making her able to fight vampires. if not, no amount of skill will make her suvive one single nomad. she might as well be a baseling human.

If you ever feel like finishing this, I'm sure people would still love to read it! Just read it again and I love how in touch you make Alice with her vampire side.

as much as i adore your story, i gotta admit that esme is definately not sweet one minute and strict or w/e the next. she's very rarely sweet at all, you def made it pretty imbalanced. and also i gotta say you having esme put a hundred year old alice on restriction is just ridiculous XD although funny XD

omg bella trying to run away from the noises the flip flips on her feet were making was so adorable/hilarious its insane XD

I thought the 2nd chapter was prolly the funniest thing ive ever read on this site, and prolly the cutest too, so i decided to scroll down in the reviews to see what everyone else thought out of curiousity, and good god damn. all i saw was, update soon. update soon. update. please update fast. update. update. update now. you people are fuckin rude, and completely shameless. I would frankly be embaressed to ask something like that. do you people think that it actually works? that the author says, oh, update! and soon! I never would have thought of that if that person hadnt told me! 8/ simply saying that you love the story, will accomplish the same thing, and you dont seem like an ungrateful jackass. at MOST just say that you cannot wait for the next chapter
