I almost forgot to read this since I was so fairly busy ;u; Nevertheless, I knew ditching most of the things I supposed to do was worth it since this chapter just lightened up my day -insert epic happy face here- Finally together again after all the obstacles (Which was A LOT, I must add, LOL).

And come on people, give Vergil some credit for actually admitting he was worried, sad and cared deeply for Sagi (And perhaps secretly for his twin baby bro too? ;D...Nahhh) I was a bit confused regarding this chapter but well, as long as it was fluffy, I no mind mind (Yes, did that on purpose). ;D

IT'S GOING TO BE A LAST CHAPTER NEXT? WHYYY? ;A; Oh well...I'll just have to wait patiently for the next chapter then.

I thought the battle scenes were written very well. All the Latin just made it more bad a$$. :D

Anywho, yay for everyone being reunited! I'm sure everyone is happy that Arkham is no longer (that guy was just creepy :P).

I'm really excited to see how the 'final boss' battle is going to play out. It's going to be epic!

With Marlo, Dante, Kalas, and Vergil all squaring off against Arkham, he'll be lucky if there's anything left of him (which I doubt there will be).

And the absence of Sagi made me even more worry! Gahh! You're good at making me feel like this! And the necklace part~ I adored it very much XD Cheesy but really cute. Something that Dante rarely does :3

And hurry up! Stop hurting Sagi and let they have a break and another...what is the word...ahh! Nifty ending!

I really like the way you write ole Vergie-pants, so now OOC to worry about. ;) I love his internal monologue in this, ah, Vergil couldn't be cheesy even if he had a can of Cheez-Wiz. ;D

Anywho, I'm digging this Marlo fellow. He seems pretty wicked sweet. lol ;)

I'm really looking forward to when Dante and Kalas are able to meet up again. I think that'll be sweet (with a dash of pervy Dante). lol

Poor Sagi! This Arkham is very, very evil, and I don't like him. I don't know how Vergil didn't manage to kill him. Too much fighting going on in this chapter, and I sense that the twins will unite for the sake of retrieving Kalas and avenging Sagi. I believe in Sagi's revival, however. This Marno (I did a little research) will bring some important changes, or so I believe.

I posted the review for the previous chapter, but I didn't see the review count rose by a number, so I don't know what happened to it. I hope it's there.

Almost everything that I wrote in it applies for this one. If you don't get the previous review, I'll tell you everything later myself ( I don't want you to have two identical reviews here).

The story is dynamic,and exciting!

However, I noticed some typos: you dropped a letter so it was 'mulicolored' instead of 'multicolored', also wrote 'had went' instead of 'had gone', an apostrophe or two, as well. But nothing that would spoil the enjoyment!

Oh, finally, the encounter! In this chapter, I especially liked how you described Sagi and the terrors he saw. I appreciate Vergil's efforts to protect the innocence inside of him, not letting him see his murderous nature and his combat with Dante. I even recognized some lines from the game (I did my homework, hurray!).

The part with Kalas and Dante fighting with those creatures seemed more like retelling the events from the game. Too many verbs, only sequences of action, fewer descriptions. You also tend to repeat yourself. While reading this (I'm referring to the whole story), I came across too many 'throbbing pain', 'he paid no mind to it', etc. A bit crudely written. Perhaps, instead of the action sequence, you could add more descriptions of the pain, for instance, more detailed descriptions of the tower, the cell, faces, people, and personalities. Chapters would be longer, but more vivid. At least that's how I see it.

I mean, the story is good even without it, you can read it comparatively fast, but the only thing I get to see vividly is battles, not their emotions, virtues and flaws (I'm sure that those who played the games know what you're talking about, though, but imagine that it is you who made the characters, and that there was no game on which you based your story, and start from that.). I'm more for some character development, I guess.

On the other hand, Vergil appeared to me as a father or brother figure in this chapter. Even though little is said, I could clearly see his efforts to protect Sagi from everything unwanted, though his battle with Dante, his 'affectionate' moment with Sagi, etc. His love for Dante is also evident, otherwise he wouldn't have wanted him there.

Well, that's enough from me for now. On to the next chapter!

Well, I can say that Vergil is such a bastard! But I won't say it because it is in his nature to be that way. To think only about himself and his interests. Whereas Sagi, the poor boy, even though being acquainted to Vergil very little, still finds refuge in his warm, big coat; he relies on him greatly because he is still weak and unable to protect himself. Vergil is the only one around who could protect him (which he does). Is he aware of the immense amount of power he possesses?

I can see the clear image of estrangement between the two, which is natural. It feels cold. Vergil is only there to prevent the monsters devour him, but other than that, he keeps away.

There is one thing that doesn't go quite well with this story, and that is the speed with which Vergil's affections toward Sagi develop. I don't know how much time has passed, but he's talking with Arkham almost all the time, doesn't speak with Sagi at all, doesn't know him at all, yet he feels uncomfortable whenever he thinks about him killing the boy. Sounds like Twilight to me (I dunno why, but (s)he is so special and dear to me,ever since the first time we met).

Other than that, the story is good so far! We have yet to see enraged Dante rescue his lover!

On to the next chapter!

It was like a game walk-through, so vividly described! And Dante appeared, too!

Now I know who the mysterious/suspicious wannabe demon is!

I wonder what Dante would do to get Kalas back and how Sagi and Vergil would interact from now on.

I'm so sorry my review looks like this, but then again, the chapter was short. I think that the character development is yet to come.

Ah, well, as you probably know, I'm not very familiar with DMC, but I know some basics. On the other hand, Baten Kaitos is a totally different story. I know nothing about it except for the things I read in order to write the story for you. Here's what I think about this, based on the knowledge I do possess:

I think you used the word 'aura' too many times. After reading the chapter, all I could hear in my mind was 'aura, aura, aura...'. :)

I don't know who that suspicious guy is, nor do I know if he's gonna be important in further development of the story. I think Vergil let him off the hook too easily. Perhaps he knows something I don't, though!

Well, this chapter is a prologue, a setting for the rest of the story, so I hope the next chapter will reveal more.

Ah, I really enjoyed this chapter! :) Thanks for the creepy Arkham warning; he definitely needs one. lol

I was really suprised at the ending (and a bit confused, but I'm sure all will be explained ;3). Marnos looks like he'll be a nice match up to Vergil as well. ;)

It seems that things are really heating up. I really can't wait til Arkham gets his. Mwahaha! :D

Ah, anyways, I absolutely loved the Sagi/Vergil pic. :) It was certainly smexy. :3

Ahh...cliffhanger. Always made you crave for more of the sweet juice. Thought I was a bit stunned when Vergil said he'd apologize to Sagi since I never thought Vergil of all people would actually apologize. A fresh change I guess? XD The next update better make me jumpy! XD
