Hmm... It seems like everywhere you turn gentrification is going on. At least here it is. There are so many places we were taught to avoid because it wasn't safe and there were too many gangs in the area. Seems like all the hipsters moved in and remodeled the dilapidated houses that now cost more than my house and aren't even as big, but people like the historical element and will pay for it. Of course all the old businesses are fancy bars with fancy beers from all over the world and restaurants that cater to more vegans and people looking for organic food. I'm not saying it's a bad thing because I enjoy those places, but where the heck are the people that did live there?

I'm loving it so far.

I'm glad the lady with alzheimer's was reunited with her son. That's tough and dangerous to try to do on your own. My grandmother used to wander off like that. It was horrible.

I wish there were more places like this. We have a few but not enough. People talk about veterans and drug addicts being homeless and living in shelters. Honestly most of them don't. The highest population is beaten and battered women with children. They might not want help, but they will do anything for their kids. And then of course is the very high population of teenagers that come out as gay or transgender and get kicked out of the house. I can't imagine it. I understand some people don't like it, but that is their child that they loved right before they ever told them that. So really they only have conditional love.

I'm curious about what is going on with the Malfoys.
