i really love how you handled kono and catherine in the same place, no bitterness or jealousy (well, a teeny bit but even that was handled well!) and you write with such maturity. love the detail of how kono was wearing a modest one piece bathing suit instead of her usual bikini. it's little classy touches like that that really highlight what a great writer you are and a mind you have. :) i also love how catherine could see the ease with which kono was comfortable around the kitchen.

the comment about CBS bromances had me giggling hehe, and the car banter was adorable, and little billie's comments. :) wonderful job on this. i know i'm late to this fic but finding it has really brightened some dark days i'm having right now so i thank you so much for it.

Gosh all this Steve and Kono working together, I could cry tears of joy! And when with Catherine there, such a great mix as they hover over the little girl

the comment with Steve telling Billie her dad couldn'. Come back, just broke my heart, that and the "superman" comment. It makes me sad to think Steve has lost so much of his family so young and it's nice that his relationship with Catherine allows her to understand that. In my head, I see kono helping him with that in the future ;)

I'm very late but just readin this for the first time and thoroughly enjoying it. Of corse I adore the little Steve/Kono parts and the "Australians" bit had me giggling like crazy! But the casefic is written so well too and I just love little Billie and her around Kono. It's a real shame this season has killed your muse cause you write them so well :( it's a travesty. Thanks for your work!

YES! Yes, yes, I absolutely adore this story. All the characters (to me at least) are spot on, as if it came directly from the show. The Holden family is wonderful as well, loving Billie. You did a wonderful job with everything and I can't wait to read more of what you can whip up.

Plus - I have a soft spot for Steve/Kono as well so I loved their interactions in this. It's really the subtleties and the hint of something more that make them so fun to ship, right? :)

I got started rereading the whole story and when I got to 10 again, realized i hadn't reviewed it.

I loved the helicopter fake out trap and Livy attacking her daughter's persecutors. And Billie wanting a longer helicopter ride.

I also liked Kono's idea for hiding from the baddies. An infectious autopsy. And love Chin's appearance shoving his shotgun in Hoffman's face. Gotta love the shotgun!

And then Rachel, Rachel!, helping trap Wheeler with her patented drunk act. "People tend to be very unforgiving of those who threaten small children."

Good little Billie, telling what she saw. And she's not afraid to tell the judge.

The Five-0 guys are going to miss Billie, and so am I. Great job!

Well done Sammie, well done. So many things made this reboot great. I have to say, I really enjoyed how many players you managed to include - not just the team, Charlie, Max, Lukela, Rachel, Grace, Charlie, Max, and even Judge Kamalei. A really great, thoughtout, action packed series. So good! Makes me miss M7 even more!
