Divine Calibur chapter 1 . 11/27/2016
This is just absolutely beautiful. It isn't exaggerated and the way you weave the words in the narrative is consistent-very much outstanding. Your depiction of Yuugi and Atem's bond is just so beautiful, without being puzzleshippy at all. I can say you have grasped the crux of their rapport. Tank you for sharing this excellent story.

Oh god. This is so sad. I nearly cried. Thank you for sharing.
Guest chapter 1 . 11/8/2015
And with the end of this story comes an unstoppable river of tears. Truly the message behind this story is so profound and the brotherly bond that ran throughout simply gripped me.
I like how you portrayed Yugi's strength in this, even though he's lost a friend who was practically his brother and could never be replaced he has the courage to keep moving forward.

TexasDreamer01 chapter 1 . 1/11/2012
This is a sad topic, in essence, but this was very satisfying to read. It seems like every other story I've read has been illogically angsty/fluffy/etc. So, thank you (for the graduation information too).

Hey! I read what you put in your profile and thanks to that I can have a different perspective of your fics, mostly of this.

I liked so much the author note at the begin, I think the same way you do, I'm sure that yugi can live without atem and being happy and of course he's suffering but not to have a depression or comite suicide like I've seen in various fics.

About this one, I liked so much the way you describe their conversation and the sensation that yami could or not be real, also I liked the humor tone you put in some lines and I liked so much the brotherly love they express each other. A very good fic.

Scaehime chapter 1 . 12/17/2011
Such a heartwarming ficlet. My brother was reading it with me for a while, saying he had nothing to do, but eventually he left to go FIND something to do, since he said something like 'you really need to get a life' as he left the room.

Eh, whatev. He doesn't appreciate the art of fanfiction. Not that it's a crime, or anything, of course.

Your fics can really put a reader in a contemplative mood. But if life were all fun and games, the fun times might become boring!

Death101- Fox Version chapter 1 . 11/4/2011
Oh my gosh. I seriously started tearing up at this. Especially when Yugi wasn't sure if he was talking to himself (like normal Yugi) or actual Atem. It was heartbreaking. Although the line: "And wait a second, you have uniforms left I didn't ruin? I've failed in my duties!" did brighten it up a little. Not much but a little. And the ending was so touching. Awesome job!

I... Oh my gosh. I love this. It's so bittersweet, yet at times humorous... and I think you captured Yugi and Atem perfectly in this piece.
Storytellerlover chapter 1 . 10/8/2011
This little story is so awesome! Somehow you've managed to put heavy emotion in the form of a light casualness thats perfectly balanced. Not to mention the background of a real life situation. Good job!
yamina-chan chapter 1 . 8/15/2011
This is the best Yu-Gi-Oh! FanFiction I have seen in a long, long time.

Not only the writing style and theme, but the setting and the way it is told too.

I was drawn right into the story from the very first lines and not for a second I questioned anything i read.

I really need to compliment you on this, it is a wonderfull and memorable story.

Thank you for shating it with us, the readers.

Love this story! So darn cute!
Hitokiri-san chapter 1 . 8/10/2011
I have been looking (mostly in vain) for well-written Yugioh gen fics for quite a while now, so I am very glad I stumbled upon yours.

This one is heartbreaking in its own way. No drama, no tears, nothing more than a quiet chat between Yugi and Atem, but you've got the poignant feeling across beautifully.

And I love that you've never quite made clear whether Atem is *really* there. It is a nice little touch, though I'd like to believe that he is.

Also, I do agree with you. Yes, Yugi certainly has the strength to go on on his own and be happy; yes, it is Atem's time to go. But it certainly isn't an easy parting. I love Yugioh's ending, but is awfully saddened by it everytime I watch it.

Anyway, thank you for the story. This is such a nice little piece.

...I'm speechless. This is definitely one of the most superb post-canon fics I've ever read. The characterizations, emotions, rain metaphor, and Yuugi's heartache are all perfectly written. There is so much angst in this piece, but I finally felt a sense of peace at the end (after I'd cried a bit when Yuugi asked Atem to watch his graduation). Truly, this is spectacular writing. Thank you for sharing! :D
