Nice story excellently written little over the top on both characterization of John and Teyla like too much candy other then nice story
Moi chapter 1 . 3/28/2016
Doesn't quite fit with your own 'Revelations and Expectations' canon (as Nancy had already met Teyla and watched the Atlantis TV report there), but it's a sweet story.

Excellent story. Nancy and Grant are such snobs, but excellent story.
Space-Age Scribe chapter 1 . 9/10/2012
I know this is an old story, but I've read it a couple of times and really like it. Following the story from Nancy's viewpoint really worked in this piece.

Oh wow; I am Loving this story! I think I've found a gold-mine on your author-page!
I have also read "The Bridge" and "Letters" and really liked each one! I love how much you respect (and love) John and Teyla. I can't wait to finish reading this Wonderful story so I can read all of the rest! Sincerely, jane

Once again, you have managed to present a story in such a way that it seems like you are right there, writing what you see. Your choice to do a story of John, Teyla and kids, through Nancy's eyes was inspired. I think you nailed the set up and dialogue, and I really really really liked the vegetables/dessert deal with John and T.J. I imagine that if my husband and I had had kids, my husband would have been exactly like that with them. I have spent this weekend reading a lot of your SGA stories and have not found one I didn't like. Thank you again for sharing your talent and wonderful story ideas. I hope you have many more where these came from.

I really enjoyed this. Nancy's a well-rounded character and it's nice to see her relationship with John as something real where they were both at fault for the end. The kids were adorable, too :)

I just read this story of the second and I love it
Cielito chapter 1 . 10/26/2011
I never read this story until now because it is worded as John/Nancy, and I never venture into any other world but Teyla and John. However, my curiosity got the best of me and when I read through the summary, I knew.

I had missed something good all this time.

And damned, have I.

This is amazing on so many levels. Love the future look into John and Teyla through Nancy's eyes. How beautifully you introduced the key characters of Atlantis and how you gave us a backstory on John and Teyla and so much more.

Thank you so much.

Another one that will be read for many cold nights to come.

Hugs!

I really enjoyed this. You have these characters down and I liked the way you had everything happening through Nancy's eyes. It was a great idea. Keep up the great work!
Target Zero chapter 1 . 8/1/2011
Awsome story! I like how it closed up a lot of loose ends the series left behind. Thanks for sharing! _
MochaTurtle chapter 1 . 7/26/2011
Beautiful story! I have a soft spot for Stargate stories that have the characters interacting with people from their past and this is a wonderful example of that. This is an excellent little one-shot and I love it, despite the fact that I usually prefer the longer epic-length stories best. You did a great job with keeping the players in-character and building a believable future for them.

Keep up the great work! (More, more, more!)

What a great story and making it from Nancy's POV was excellent. I loved everyone's thoughts about Sheppard. Lovely...thanks.
sheppardlover928 chapter 1 . 7/25/2011
Great, great story! It was interesting to have Nancy's POV. Being divorced, I know there are moments when I still wonder "what if"...It was interesting to see her compare John then with John now...and it seems she makes peace with the fact that she and him were really not meant to be together, that their respective "worlds" were too different. I, being a total John Sheppard fan-absolutely love the way you portrayed my fave handsome flyboy! I also love how all his peers hold him in such high esteem-he IS perfect, isnt he! While I love John as the new expedition leader, I was hoping you included a promotion! Oh well-something to look forward to in future stories! Hint, Hint!
