Guest chapter 1 . 2/27/2017
Yay for Mommy Starscream! But it's sad that the hatchlings probably died later.
Larisa chapter 1 . 3/20/2016
Thank you for writing - it's amazing :)

Wow.

Just - wow.

Amazing job.

Small nitpicks:

First, this line "But he was too strong to let another suffer while he had a way to help." , the line itself is fine grammar wise, but the part about Starscream helping people when they need it... It seems a bit OoC to me. The previous reason you gave, with keeping as many warriors as possible makes total sense and I like how part of him hates his weakness and how he call it a weakness, but this seemed to be stretching it a bit.

And the next thing is tiny. You kind of jump out of PoV near the ending there. The story is mostly from Starscream's perspective, but at this line "If only it were so simple, Starscream." you move into third person. But it is very good line. It's just that most writing are kept to one PoV (or the writers try to keep it as that) to be consistent. Just throwing it out there. But it is a wonderful line, don't get me wrong. Has a lot of power to it.

Overall, wonderful, wonderful work. I really enjoyed this.

Great work,

Denvana

I like the story n all but maybe you should credit Magnizeal? I know theres alot of idea overlap in TFs but this is way like zir story little one. Theres like 2 diffs. Zirs is ROTF and youers is DOTM. Plus zirs is sadder. Im not saying you did it on purpose. Sumtimes we read stuff n absorb it n junk. But zirs is 2 years older than yours n its super easy to see they are way alike. I mean I thought you were the same author at first.

NEWay I thought youd totally wanna fix this. Stay classy!
ABundleOfDaydreams chapter 1 . 1/23/2012
:D I really like this, it is so dramatic! I wish it wasn't a one-shot though...
SingingFlames chapter 1 . 9/5/2011
That was very touching. Very well written. I loved it.
Bibliotecaria.D chapter 1 . 8/26/2011
I like how this isn't a fix-it. It's an off-scene bit of hope, almost. Motivation? Backstory? Heck, I don't know. I just like Starscream's bitter determination.
ABSilverstreak chapter 1 . 7/23/2011
...Oh my god...This is the most amazing and soft-sided part of Screamer no one will EVER see. This is just...so adorable. :D Your descriptions are beyond anything I would have thought of. Great job! I felt so sorry for the little thing at the end. Starscream is just awesome...my Favorite Decepticon. 3 Faved!
Darth Krande chapter 1 . 7/19/2011
You have very well explained the difference between Bayformers Decepticons and how "traditional" Decepticons usually think. Also, that's why I love them :)
Starfire201 chapter 1 . 7/19/2011
Horribly poignant. The bitterness was very palpable.
SaneFangirl chapter 1 . 7/18/2011
Wow. That was really moving. Bayverse Starscream is definitely the best Starscream so far. He actually has a developed personality, he's loyal, and he has human (robot?) emotions. Great job, as usual.

Long Live Bayverse Starscream.
MountFury chapter 1 . 7/18/2011
Aaaaaand...Now I'm sad. Very good story, not too often you see a kind Decepticon story.
Ell Bee Someone Else Now chapter 1 . 7/17/2011
That was awesome. A side, a logical, perfectly IC side, to Screamer we haven't seen before.

And I loved the logical backflips he did to excuse himself from being called "merciful."
Zea T chapter 1 . 7/17/2011
That was beautiful and so sad, given all that is to follow. I love the way you show Starscream's willingness to sacrifice without compromising the strength and practicality of his Decepticon principles. It's so easy to focus on the destructive side of Decepticon nature without thinking about the fact that they're fighting for their world and future, just as the Autobots are. Thanks for sharing a thoughtful and well written story.
Valkyra chapter 1 . 7/17/2011
This is just so... so bittersweet. Bitter because of how the movie ended for Starscream, and sweet because it's a side we rarely see of the devious Seeker. It's sweet and mushy but still real. I love it.
