Well, I definitely liked the Charles/Erik exchanges. And that Charles has such a hard time sans telepathy. But the Raven and Charles reunion, especially Erik's perspective, didn't feel...right. I feel like Charles would try to respect Raven's new name, it being a rather harmless change and especially since some of his own students, like Alex and Sean, have mutant names. I also don't see Erik forbidding Raven to see Charles, especially since he obviously still cares about the other man's feelings. I get that you were trying to establish the MalcolmXMagneto thing, but it came off a bit strong.

Still, I def agree that Magneto is a man who holds his pain for a long time and am not at all surprised that he can't move on. Bottle up, yes. Move on, no. lol. I look forward to the next chap!

Really enjoyed it. Erik's POV is clipped, choppy, kind of tense and scattered...like Erik. Well done there. I also really loved "...feeling oddly cheated,' and how the students perceive him. Well done. *Continues*

I love this so far! I do believe Erik would come back to Charles. I don't think they're enemies yet, although that beach scene tore my heart apart. Can't wait for more! Although i can sense it will end angsty given how they were in the future /3

Hah, I thought the original drabble in Thought of That was pretty interesting- an expansion on that is nice to see. It's pretty interesting thus far- nice work.

... This is all really awkward... not at all like the way it was portayed in the original X-men movies... but this is definitely more realistic to me. Keep up the good work

I'm so glad you made this into its own story! I got teary-eyed when Erik revealed that he had hoped Charles would visit someday, enough to connect his personal room to a vacant one. I can easily see the hope for reconnection flare strongly in him. I like the humorous things you throw in- Borco and the M initial.

As for slash...the presence (or absence) of it shouldn't make or break your story. I don't think you should be letting other people write the plot for you, as these are YOUR ideas.

In my opinion, an intriguing idea with good execution should depend on alot of things, but least among them slash - there's generic smut for that sort of focus.

If it fits, write it in. If not, fudge all the detractors, they can read something else.

I like the way this is going. Can't wait for more!
