This was very interesting to read.

Great story. I have bypassed this story in the past because of the summary, I am glad I decided to finally read it. I am glad everyone had a happy ending. Imagine having a badass Original as a brother. No one would ever mess with you again!

So I have Just finish reading, and I must say your an amazing writer. Your story was amazing.

This was such a cute story I Loved it

Well, I finished reading! Am I glad I stuck with it? Not exactly, but your writing style captivates readers against their will and keeps them hooked. You know how to thicken plots, build drama, and to use those plot events to breathe life into your characters. Nevertheless, the major components of weakness when it comes to this story is the verisimilitude of characters like Damon, Klaus, Katherine, Esther, but especially Bonnie. They were too OOC. Entirely too OOC! For the first 22 chapters of this story, I was enraptured by this story because Damon & Bonnie seemed like the kind of couple who, as they evolved over time, they'd bring out the very best in each other; but the opposite was true right after Chapter 22. In order to be together, Bonnie ignores committing murder and ultimately loses herself all to be with Damon, who inadvertently tells Bonnie that his brother matters more to him than she does (even though she's known him much longer) and that, if Bonnie wants to be with Damon, she'll just have to accept his less redeeming qualities and get over the fact that she needlessly killed a human (and fellow witch) for nothing! That relationship dynamic I believe is absolutely worse than Jeremy's forced physical abuse of Bonnie; her physical wounds healed, as did her friendship with Jeremy. But her relationship with Damon in this story alters her very being; a mental, emotional, and physical alteration of her identity as her own self as strong and as a witch! And don't get me started on the verisimilitude of the other characters! Even by the beginning of 2012, which is when this story finished, you could see that your characters' characterizations were extremely OOC, especially Katherine and Esther. But that doesn't matter because this is a Bamon story about the Bamon pairing, and rather than it being a pairing that is epic in their actual love, this feels like what 'bond' they have is unhealthy, unsustainable and quite juvenile. Don't get me wrong: It's not entirely that Bonnie glosses over her willingly using her magic to kill a fellow witch that ruins this story. It's that the ending is too perfectly fitting for everyone involved. This ending has a pretense that this Bamon pairing is forever and epic, when it isn't. Because what they have is fickle and ultimately unhealthy for Bonnie.

To be fair to you, the Bamon pairing is extremely difficult to write. We love the pairing because opposites attract, but it's so difficult to make this coupling realistic without either Bonnie losing or bending many of her principles or Damon becoming mushy, less edgy, and practically like non-ripper Stefan. It's majorly difficult to write and capture this relationship without it taking a dangerous swerve towards an unhealthy relationship that is unbalanced in several ways.

I immensely enjoyed the first 22 chapters and I thank you for sharing it with us all!

I'm far too lazy to sign in, sorry. But up until this point, I've really loved your story! You're a great writer. Though I get Damon's choice not to kill Klaus, if I was Bonnie, I could never forgive Damon for his sudden change of heart. Bonnie killed a human-a fellow witch, who was the daughter of a witch that helped her AND Damon!-to make Klaus believe the plot that Bonnie herself , Elijah, AND Damon cooked up to kill Klaus. Damon can't claim to love Bonnie if he could willingly let her make that big of a sacrifice without him making a huge one himself-murdering his brother! He knows what taking a human life means to Bonnie. If Damon could do that to Bonnie so thoughtlessly, then Jeremy would be the better choice for her. Jeremy wasn't Jeremy when he hurt her, but Damon's willing to hurt Bonnie so cavalierly and intentionally. And besides the careless disregard for Bonnie's principles to not take human life, but on top of that, Damon's choice is inadvertently a callous disregard of Angela's death too-a witch, like Bonnie who he's supposed to be falling for. That disregard for Angela's death-a needless death now b/c of Damon's decision-would make him unlovable in Bonnie's eyes. For them to continue as they were before this would make Bonnie extremely OOC and it would ultimately ruin your story. I'm hoping that this won't be the case. I'm going to continue to read now with my fingers crossed.

Omg this was such a good story! Excellent writer :) I loved the way you made Bonnie and Damon's relationship playful, yet passionate. I will definitely take notes for my own story.

He didn't mean it? HE DIDN'T MEAN IT? Bonnie, Bonnie is nice. If he would've hit me. I would've boiled his blood. I would have gave him 100 aneurysms at once. Then I would've made him get on his knees and apologize :-D
