Thalion Estel chapter 1 . 8/13/2014 I don't read too many Sherlock stories, but yours made me want to explore the series further. You did an excellent job, and I really like how you had Lestrade define John into those categories. This describes Watson very well, in addition to doing so from another character's point of view. Awesome! |
creativesm75 chapter 1 . 12/15/2013 cool |
Louey06 chapter 1 . 6/25/2013 that's right, watson might seem unassuming and gentle but realy, he's a badass. Go Watson! I love how surprised lestrade is by all of this. great story! |
FarGreenCountrySwiftSunrise chapter 1 . 12/27/2012 Hehe. I always though that Lestrade would figure out that John shot the cabbie. |
Haiza Tyri chapter 1 . 10/27/2012 This made me smile immensely. |
mrspencil chapter 1 . 6/17/2011 And I like this one, too. You give Lestrade a very in character voice; and his musings on John fit in very well Mrs P:) |
Kim CC chapter 1 . 6/13/2011 Seeing how Lestrade changes his mind about plain, bland Dr. John Watson is great. Because I'm sure everybody wonders why Sherlock Holmes has him around. |
Kiara-san chapter 1 . 6/13/2011 This was very nice. I like how Lestrade realized he had underestimated John and how he sees how he's having a positive effect on Sherlock. I think you should add John as the second character along with Lestrade so that more people will be able to find this story later on. Also, I'm not sure if you already know about this, but you might also get more feedback if you allow anonymous reviews. The default on the site is to only accept signed reviews. To change this, you would need to log in and go to account settings. From there, scroll down to anonymous and then press enable. The text beside it should change from red to green. Hope this helps. |
DeleteForever97 chapter 1 . 6/13/2011 A nice introspective character study. I enjoyed how you used Lestrade as the POV of the story, and how through his eyes we got to see all the things he'd discovered about John. Thanks for sharing. |
blank00001 chapter 1 . 6/13/2011 A great little companion piece. I like how this one is Lestrade's opinion after the background check. The description of John is very accurate, and I love how you give a little snippet of how they started reading John's blog. "Lestrade berated himself for the idiot Sherlock Holmes always called him." "...when he went to beg (beg!) Sherlock to go to the Brixton crime scene" Love those lines. And the title. Great job! |
