Whew, what a ride. It ended on a good note, mostly painted with relief and hope. Which is good.
But how did they find out about Naraku's past? Mm. And did I hear a mention at the funeral of the dead chief taking a wife with him to the afterlife? Scary.
Of everything I guess my only complain in the epilogue would be that Kagome didn't patch or is in the process of patching her relationship with her father. But oh well, not everything can be great and good.

While I feel sorry for Naraku's past self, he was indeed a monster at the end. Mostly it's a sad fact his tribe was exterminated.

I'm glad it's over, I can finally get some rest instead of the huge binge I took. Sleep is necessary after all. But each chapter left me with cliffhanger after cliffhanger. Thank you for completing this story.

He unwittingly healed every member of the tribe through his disgusting act. Hopefully not only were they healed but also given a buff too.
I also feel sorry for both chiefs but especially Kagome's father. She should not shun him, she's the last thing he has left of his family. But well, I understand not wanting anything after all that.

Every time he appears he grows ever more disturbing.
At least I now know the child is Sesshomaru's even if the youki feeding them is Naraku's. Terrible.
Maybe if Kagome and Sesshomaru do the bond thing again but without sex they could somehow expel the youki? Mm.

What? When? How? I thought he didn't take Kagome's body once. That child is Sesshomaru's! Especially because since they bridged their bond both have been healing. And how could a kid grow so fast? Sorcery!

I never really liked Rin to be honest, too meek and needy and naive. How she could trust a complete stranger when her tribe is suffering constant assaults from the outside by an unknown enemy I don't know. But her death was horrible all the same, like Inuyasha's it was too sudden and brutal.

I'm surprised Kagome's dilemma was leaving her tribe's corpses without burial rites, her hunger must be horrible so I thought desperation would make her consider that alternative. But well, the culture you have shown in this story shows how honorable the inu all are.

Never underestimate the will of someone who is cornered and given the motivation of a lifetime. Kagome just realized she is fertile again and he declared his intent to rip that away from her again. I doubt she would have stopped even if it meant death. The insane bastard is so unstable he can't even finish anything that he starts, for all that his plans are good he constantly changes course at the last second. There is that weakness but he is still mortally dangerous and unpredictable.
I hope Sesshomaru gets there in time to prevent further injuries on her.

I have to say I'm surprised Inuyasha died like that. It wasn't a fight but an assassination, too quick and sudden. I was expecting a show off between him and Naraku or Sesshomaru at least once but well, if it happened like that it would have been predictable. He was a bitter guy that pushed away all his grief and focused on a single point of obsession since Kagura's death, Kagome. I often forget that canon Inuyasha did the same because when he was unsealed from the three what he remembered was being just betrayed and killed by his love, for all that trauma I believe he held his mind together admirably well.

Kagome saved most of the tribe's lives by running away but Inuyasha should have ditched her the moment he took her to the cave.
Unbelievable, Naraku just marked her too. Does this mean she has two mates instead of one? Also, his obsession is way too much. Yandere doesn't even begin to cover it.
I hope Kagome somehow transforms into a giant dog and stomps him into non-existence.

Now a fire. I get why they were slow in identifying it, they eat everything raw unlike humans. So fires are scarce for the most part.
Inuyasha is an idiot, he could have proven himself by protecting his tribe but chose to keep Kagome at his side abandoning the rest. Ugh, tunnel vision has always been his weakness. It was a good trait as a shonen protagonist (kind of), but in a disaster situation with many people to protect and guide? Hopeless.
Naraku scares me a little not gonna lie.

I bet Naraku pushed the attack just to stop Kagome's alone time with her husband.

It's still hot how they Bond together, but now they do it because they want to be together a little aside from feeling good and to forget.
Sesshomaru is maturing, hurray! He is thinking of the whole picture And about Kagome more than for his pride. And for the first time he wants to heal her too, about damn time. You would think one would want for the person that stays loyally by your side to feel better instead of just focusing on oneself. I mean, I am no saint I'm very selfish too, but I try to be there for the people who stay by my side when I'm down. And he does, but emotional support is very important too.
Inuyasha doesn't stand a chance, Kagome is way too loyal. Even if she doesn't love her husband she would never betray him. But it's still a little annoying how hung up he is with her, he is trying to steal her from his brother instead of concentrating on the utter doom that is looming over all their heads.
I feel sorry for Inutaisho, he's done for. I doubt he'll let himself survive the next big fight, he already passed down leadership to Sesshomaru in all but name. It's like he's preparing to die. I hope they settle the heir thing before he passes away because both brothers will fight for the tittle.

At long last, they trust each other and tell it. How sad that this is the best news we get right now. That and his arm is growing back but their problems are so big the trust thing is better news. Divided they fall, united they stand and all that.
I just hope Kagome can heal completely too, and safely become pregnant again. Though Naraku is such a monster I wouldn't put it past him to organize another attack just to make her abort again.
Byakuya is an idiot, to survive they need to stay together. Leadership organization can wait until they are more stable. But I get where this comes from, there are two leaders and no heirs, Sesshomaru is crippled and has no kids on the way, Inuyasha has no wife and his heir Rin is alone and weak to sway over others (in fact it's alarming how maleable Rin is, she does everything her father says, does what her sister says and does what a suspicious stranger says).

I think it's a crime there is no anime or drama adaptation of this story. The drama is always at an all time high.

So poor Izayoi was dead since she drowned and her soul was slowly eaten from inside her moving corpse? Creepy doesn't cover it but props for the awesome spooky ghost story: water cannibals are now something to fear.
About damn time Sesshomaru begins actively teaching Kagome the language. I understand his coldness about getting attached but by now he should know he is pretty much tied to her. The attacks always revolve around them.
Also, I have the terrible premonition our father of the year Byakuya will be next.

I hate how both tribes treat both Sesshomaru and Kagome, as if it's their fault an insane monster is out to get them and their many loses are their fault.
Naraku is frighteningly strong and calculating, but he messes up his own objectives because he's unhinged. He could have easily cut off Sesshomaru's head instead of the arm just because he wanted him to suffer more, then he cut off the wrong arm. The result of this freed the guy from the poison and deepened his relationship with Kagome.
Then he went and mated Rin. While having an insider helps him a little, it doesn't help him enter the tribe at all. Not when they are at war and completely suspicious of anyone.
And although Inuyasha being seen as unsuited because of that illusion could have helped destabilize the trust between the blacks and silvers it ironically boosted Sesshomaru's position.
Also I'm so hyped that Kagome gets healing powers, is she a Miko? There is hope still for her fertility. Though wasn't that because of a bone badly positioned.

This train is getting faster and the breaks aren't working, I see pitfall after pitfall and disaster after disaster. Woah.
