Brilliant and fascinating and creepy. One of the best Architect fics I've come across.

Muahaha. This is quite an excellent premise - the Architect wanting to try out humanity, to test its flavor, and doing it in the most intimate a way possible. That last line reminds me of a spider, and the fate that the male spider eventually succumbs to.

I loved it in all its creepy, twisted glory - that desire for affection, the long road ahead of them that will totally and utterly turn Utha into a creature beyond thought and comprehension, with only one, singular purpose. And despite all that exploration between them, I really don't see the Architect feeling all that badly about having Sigrun undergo the transformation into a Broodmother (which aren't darkspawn at all, are they? They're just specialized ghouls!). Perhaps she'll actually be able to handle living without the song.
