GADZOOKS another story of yours that is pure poetry. I loved this so much. I'm so glad that Dean slid over in the end and touched Sammy. If he didn't though I would have been really tempted to hunt him down and punch him straight in the face! LOL!

Aw, this was really sweet! I've always enjoyed teen Sam and Dean a bit more (because I'm a rebel like that) but, I must say, this was a pleasant (and by pleasant I mean super awesome amazing suffering. Because I'm like all the other Sammy fans like that) and extremely well-written fic. I am a HUGE fan of Sammy angst and I really like your description of Sam needing an anchor and how the "burn" he endured was the whole purpose of Sam's need for touch. Dean's reaction at the very end was exactly how this fanfic needed to end and you ventured out and did precisely that. Very nice job, and I hope to see more from you! Keep up the good work!

I could see Sam developing this habit.

I love that Dean noticed, 'The thing he's he touches the most, though, Dean realizes, it's him. It's Dean, Dean is his anchor, the one thing that's always around to prove to him that he's not about to step over the edge and back into the cage. Back into countless more years of suffering.' I love that Dean talked to Sam and tried to reassure him.

Thanks for the perfect ending, "Hey. We've got time to figure this out. I'm not going anywhere, Sammy. And just to prove it, Dean slides over and leans his weight against Sam's shoulder."
