pottersparky chapter 1 . 3/11/2018 Iroh at last gets tell his brother that biggest fool that ever live. The fool love for power mess up his life and destroy his daughter he just can't see it makes true loser. I see him getting a very painful life in afterlife for his crimes. Me I think Aaang should kill him. Great story and it been great fun reading it and be much joy if make more stories like this. |
Vaneria Potter chapter 1 . 3/5/2012 Hm, I thought Aang was going to be on the wrong end of the tongue-lashing, but I liked it! |
blueheron93 chapter 1 . 10/27/2011 This is great. I've always wanted to see Iroh give Ozai a verbal smack down. (Actually, I always wanted to see a physical one, but we can't have everything, can we?) I liked the part about Azula. I always felt kind of bad for her after her meltdown. It seems like Ozai turned her into what she was. He created a monster. And I like to think Iroh would pity her too. You did a really good job on the plot flow, although it was a little choppy just before the confrontation. |
potentially lovely chapter 1 . 7/17/2011 Hi! My apologies for not getting to this sooner-I know I said I'd review by last Sunday. *wince* As always, your ideas are very original; I always love reading Iroh fics because I feel that he is integral to the plot and an incredible character. You write him well-I like how you show his respect and worry for the Gaang and just his opinions about the finale in general. I felt victorious as he gave Ozai what he deserved-they never interact in the canon (and Iroh's opinions about his brother are fairly reserved), and you wrote their dialogue wonderfully. Ozai was his usual sneering, disdainful self, and Iroh's anger was controlled and icy. I think that was my favorite part, actually. I also loved how he met Sokka, Toph and Suki in person-it shows a bit more of the sort of parental affection that he has for them. You also kept them very much in character, and as amusing as ever (I loved it when Sokka attempted to hug Toph, and received a punch in response! XD). As I mentioned when reviewing A Voluntary Prisoner-which you dutifully fixed-sometimes your writing seems a bit flat, descriptively. I feel like you could bring a little more life into the characters, their emotions, and the setting. Zuko's letter also seemed sort of flat and stated. As much as I love yourthis fic, and its clean, polished originality, Aftermath did not make it into my community because of this. Thanks very much for sending me this; it was a great read! I look forward to reading A Matter of Trust. Please PM me if you have any questions. Have a nice day, and don't drink any cactus juice! |
BloodyHoney chapter 1 . 6/16/2011 This is a great story. I love the POV of Iroh. Very unique! I want to read more like this from you. Kudos! |
Sun Daughter chapter 1 . 5/31/2011 Oh! I returning community author! I was really excited to read this one when you PMed me. I had looked at the summary, and it sounded interesting. The shorter the summary, the more I am intrigued. The structural aspect of this was awesome. Good paragraphing, spelling, and grammar. Though, there was a missing comma or two. However, overall it was very good. The content also looked in check. Long story short, congrats, you are added to my community once again. Keep writing! Au revoir, ~Summer |
UH-60 NIGHTSTALKER chapter 1 . 5/20/2011 I really loved this story,I liked when Iroh confronted his brother and really let him have it in his own special way. Thank you for writting it. |
FairladyZ2005 chapter 1 . 5/19/2011 Good job! After Voulntary Prisoner, this is my next favorite fic of yours. I really liked seeing Iroh not just getting word of the final battle but meeting up with the Gaang again and getting caught up on everything. I particuarly liked seeing Iroh give Ozai a piece of his mind. |
