I have no idea if you even still think about this account, but this is one of those fics I come back to all the time. It’s truly a masterpiece. Even if you never come back to it, I believe it belongs among the Great Hetalia Literature (lmao)

I just want you to know that this is really powerful. I keep telling myself I won't reread it but I always do and it kills me that same way every time. There's this line in here: "You're mine." I threw up when I read that. Not because it was written poorly, but because it was written so well it took me back. I knew with every word I read that I should not have been reading this but I kept going. It was powerful. Coming from someone, and I have never said this like this before, but coming from someone who somewhat understands Gilbert's position, it was terribly accurate. It took me six years to tell someone and when I did, my best friend, who was the one I told, left me. I'm sorry I'm saying all of this but I just wanted to say that you captured his feelings... eerily well. Good job and don't stop writing.

I started this story on Archive of Our Own, and was crushed when it only had nine chapters. Luckily for me, I managed to stumble across it here.
This is one of the most well written, suspenseful FanGictions I've read. I love how you portray Gilbert, and the relationships between each character. You perfectly valence humor and comedy. While this fanfiction is a bit more intense on the...uh...sexual assault than I normally prefer, I don't even care because it's that good.
I look forward to future updates.

Honestly, I'm a quiet sad that one of my favourite stories is coming to a temporary close. But, I understand that obviously, you have a life, and that things are going on that prevent you from continuing to update this daily. I just want to wish you good luck for the future! From this story I could tell that you care a lot about your work, and it pays off, too. I a looking forward to the rest of this story, so, I will keep an eye on this. But anyways, good luck!

Oh, wow! You know, I was hoping you were alright - I drifted away from the Hetalia fandom years ago (and fandom in general a few years after that) but I've lately been revisiting a lot of the things I used to read and remembered this fic!

Hey, so I haven't really done reviews for fanfics before; this'll be a first. Please bear with me if I get off track.
First off, I discovered your story only recently, and was hooked immediately. The characters are well written and most of them got fleshed out as the story went on. I realize that this is a bit late (almost exactly 4 years, in fact), but please, continue the story. I've gotten several friends into reading it, and they all were a little disappointed when they realized that there was no ending. But if you cannot finish it for personal reasons, that's fine, I completely understand.
Now, on to the actual review. Your writing has improved steadily as the story progressed (as should be expected), and there aren't many things left that need tweaking. One thing you could do is pay attention to run-on sentences; they do not appear that often in this chapter, but are noticeable nonetheless. The very last sentence, for example, could probably need a break of some sort in the middle.
Also, your sentences tend to run on for a while when you switch between dialogue and narration (as an example, take the second to last paragraph, staring with "Let me think[...]"). Now, I'm not sure if that is the way you write in Britain (if it is, please ignore this part), but again a break/stop somewhere would help.
As a last piece of advice, try seeking the help of people who are fluent (or can at least converse) in German, French, Spanish, or any other second language being spoken from time to time by your characters. I do not recall you making many mistakes in that regard, but I have read other fanfics that lost some of its appeal because the parts of the dialogue that contained other languages were just put through google translate and ended up sounding wrong. This is not a critique so much as an advice for the future. Of course, if no such people are available, you can always try finding videos where your words are said or written by a native speaker; that shouldn't be hard to do nowadays.
Sorry if this came out long-winded and boring; I hope it actually helps you. Again, please continue if you are able. There are few things as tragic in literature as a good story that was never finished.

This is really good! I love frying pangle, and I love your portrayal of Gilbert in this story (it is a little cruel, but accurate for a victim of abuse). Please write more! I'd love to see another wedding related scene :)

Wow...I've just read all of this story and I have to say, you're a great writer. Even your 'crappy' chapters are far above average level. I really like how you take things fast enough for it not to get boring, but slow enough to not make it feel rushed. The way you depict Gilbert's problems and his friends' reactions is very realistic, so realistic I keep crying... poor Gil... Anyway, you haven't updated in a long time, but I hope you will get around to finishing this story sometime.
