| Readers-Section chapter 1 . 6/30/2011 Your writing is always so beautiful! Everything, the boys sitting and listening to their parents fight, Francis seeing the mutilated pictures, the scene with the boys piecing them together and then that phone call! With the 'that hurt a lot' and Arthur's 'sorry' after Francis hangs up...it's all so sad and made me teary-eyed. The charcters were so perfect and the family dynamics were so sweet. I really, really liked this a lot. |

I try so hard with the FACE family and Francis and Arthur don't seem to come out quite right. It's bothersome. But I like the way you portrayed them here.
