good one-shot thing...i get soooo mad when someone says mean things about Gay,Lesbian or transgendered people! it makes me very happy to know other people are standing up for them!

Oh god, this was so good. I would really love more fics about characters coming out and struggling with sexuality. It would just be nice reading things about the characters you love going through real life struggles that some teens go through every day. Very nice, write on!

I heard about for the first time, and participated in, the 2011 Day of Silence last year. I passed out little handouts I'd made that came from the original message from the first ever Day of Silence(you can find the message online if you look hard enough). One teacher that I gave it to asked 'But how is anyone going to hear a voice that doesn't speak?'

And I knew nobody would really get what I was doing that day but me and my fellow particapants.

Hi. Only a slash reader occasionally (I'm selective about my fandoms for that- I'm more for canon pairings in shows). However I appreciate the serious issues thought through here. I have many gay/bi friends (drama club 'nuff said, really, some stereotypes are true). But it is the ones who are shyer who need the help, thank you for if not a happy piece, slighty more optimistic. I live in Wales and we are fortunate to have accepting communities but there are still things that happen (a funny new way of protesting at a pub in London was to have a kiss in- gay and straight couples gathered outside even just for a peck in large numbers when a gay couple were kicked out earlier).

Man, this makes me wish that it didn't happen to be on the same day as state forensics (I was totally going to do this, but then realized it was the same day, so I couldn't).

This...I...wow, I just have no words for it. It shows just how much a lot of gay, transgender, lesbian, etc. suffer because of society. I personally don't see how people can be so closed-minded. I mean, we tease this one guy on my forensics team because last year, he and the rest of his play-group were in Barnes and Nobles just before we left for our round at state, and he got petted by what they swear were transvestites. It's only slightly funny in that way, but...

I don't know, I just don't get it. There's getting to be a lot more tolerance, but it's just not spreading fast enough. I could go on all day, but then I'd run out of characters to type with.

So, in short, I definitely love this story.

Good story. My school hosted this day too and I took part in it! We wore white ribbons! I'm straight, but don't discriminate and thought this day was a very good idea! Alright back to the story. It was really, really good! Bravo!
