Can't blame Makoto much since Sekai Saionji is the true turncoat and traitor at first place. She even sells her half-sister Setsuna Kiyoura and her mother Youko Saionji to get what her wants as in School Days and Summer Days. I have a feeling Sekai will sell Makoto someday.

Another oneshot, similar to the other one you wrote before, except it's the focus of two canon characters' relationship trying to be mended, but fails to be fixed. Time for me to make my observations.

A good start involving Makoto trying to fix his relationship with Kotonoha, but it veers towards Kotonoha's boyfriend interrupting the attempt to fix said relationship and taking over the story. It's a good way to show an OC's jealousy or anger towards Makoto, but some readers might expect Makoto to fix their relationship and be done with it (I will admit that I, too was hoping for that to happen), but was kind of disappointed that the fic returned to OC/Kotonoha.

Nothing wrong with an OC/Kotonoha fic, but the title of the fic had the feel of someone trying to fix a mistake or mend their relationship with someone.

Pros: A good-length oneshot that I believe should be standard for going into detail between two characters' relationships

Cons: Not much to say about the cons.

Overall: A good read if one wants to kill time with a good romance.

Final Verdict: Good read

I liked that story too. It was so romantic and sweet.

Nice one-shot. Ryuji sure hasn't been quite receptive of Makoto even though Makoto shows that he is sorry for hurting Kotonoha.
