| Evilnor chapter 18 . 10/9/2011 First off: Yay for more updates on the horizon! I have no problem putting my hat in the ring again for beta-ing. I like to help out a good story whenever I can. The storytelling seems a little fragmented to me at the beginning, making it a little tougher to follow. The longer sections toward the end of the chapter are far easier to read and grasp, imo. You definitely get the point across that something's going wrong, though, and not just with Carver. I really liked the scene with the old biddy refusing to be healed by a mage. Those are exactly the sort of vindictive actions Anders would have taken, with or without Justice. Anders was never exactly an altruist, after all. If that lady had been a templar, he likely would have refused to heal her at all. Unlike doctors nowadays, Dragon Age healers have no Hippocratic oath to uphold . . . I'm surprised at the end that Anders isn't feeling any nudges from Justice to explain the situation or defend the mage point of view in that abomination conversation. I could imagine him wanting the unambiguous truth out there, but on the other hand being slightly ashamed, since it does deal with his cause. As always, eager to see more! |

| renegadelove chapter 17 . 9/21/2011 sooo good and worth the wait. I felt her dissapointment as she realized it wasn't Anders at the hanged man :) made me so sad lol. I love the drama between Fenris and Hawke and how well you capture the tension. And awww Anders is a dad :) So sweet. The whole idea of the different things all going on at once is amazing! The depth of the characters is wow. You are breaking the parts up great too. Can't wait to read more! |
