So I just wrote a review but a accidently sent it before I finished it so here's the rest.
What I wanted to say is that I loved reading your story but I also couldn't wait to finish it because that drama made me want to fish it as soon as possible.
Like I *really* need to see a happy end but I don't want to skip parts because I love reading your story but if they (Daria and Trent) don't get their shit together and finally admit that the *beep*ing want to be with each other then I do not know what to do.
Now that I've tried to sum up that very colorful mix of emotions I got while reading I will move onto other things.
First I want to say that I like that you made your story realistic. Because even though I just finished complaining about the emotional distress that Daria and Trent and, to a lesser degree Quinn, Mystik Spiral and everyone else, caused me, it would not be nearly as good as it is if there were just happy times.
Daria the cartoon is a series that is different and because of how Daria is and how she sees the world it is more realistic.
The way you wrote fits the way the cartoon is really well.

The whole idea with Quinn livecoaching Trent and later managing the band is someting I could imagine her doing. You wrote the way she deals with that responsibility and the new problems and emotional issues that come with that really well. But it's also nice to see her grow because of that.

I also want to say that it is great that you made Trent and the band take control of their lifes first before making them successful or, with Trent, develop his relationship with Daria. Because it is true that if he stayed canon, him and Daria would not have been good for each other and their future would have ended up like in Trent's vision. You changed him for the better but still kept him from being OOC.

You may keep any grammar mistakes or false punctuation you find.

I really hope that you update this story. You've captured my attention with your characterizations. I really want to see where it goes with Quinn and Max, that was never a pair and I had thought of, but it could work. I love how you have focused on Trent and how his relationship with Daria is about the quiet aspects.

I've just finished reading up from Chapter 1 to 25, and I love the pacing of this story, as well as the clear and logical thought processes behind each character. The entire narrative itself complemented Daria, the show, well; there was a good coherence with the end of the series and the start of your story. Each and every character is growing up here, and finding themselves, and it really suits the essence of Daria too. I love this story, I love the witty rapport between all the characters, and I love the premise. Daria isn't a gullible girl who's willing to give up her future for Trent because she's strong and human and independent, and Trent is learning to let go of his crappy past and move on with his life. Love.

That being said, PLEASE UPDATE. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT'S HAPPENING!

Certainly the most interesting and fully involved fanfic from this fandom I've read in many years. Acute introspectives, honest dialogue, and intriguing tangents. I can only hope that you finish this work, since your Trent is by far the most well-rounded I've seen on here, especially with his depression.

If nothing else, thanks for sharing this with us and I hope to read more of it in the future. Makes me want to write for this fandom, after years of dodging it.

This is a really great story that has all the character in character. I enjoyed reading your chapters and although it's been quite a bit of time since the last update, I do hope you stay true to your word about not abandoning this story.
