Silver's admiration (Respect?) for Giovanni, that's what I saw when I read the first part of this story. Maybe I'm way off, but when I read the first paragraphs, that's what your words made me feel. The words in parenthesis ["(Protect)" and "(Glorious)"], was that how Silver, deep down, actually felt about his father's plan? Or were they in parenthesis for some other reason?

Silvers concerns about being like Team Rocket, both before he steels Totodile and after he loses to Gold, that is extremely believable; wile remorse is somewhat commonplace when reading about Silver, most writers (that I've read) don't take time to show Silver worrying about being comparable to Team Rocket. It's an excellent touch, so much so that those few words enhanced my enjoyment of this story more then I can express in words. (Though with out that, this is still an amazing story.)

The mention of Ariana throughout this story, yet not using her name... brilliant is the only (semi) acquitted word that comes to mind. Though saying she ran away... is that how Silver views her actions, or in this story did she actually run away?

At this point, I'd like to thank you for writing Ethan in place of Lyra. Wile I would have still given this story a try (You've gotten me hooked to you views of Team Rocket), I'm really happy Silver and Ethan ended up together.

By far, may favorite part of this was very first and very last line. You really rounded out this story, connecting the dots, and ended it (in my opinion) perfectly. I look foreword to reading more of you Silver/Ethan parring, if there are any. And if there aren't, I look forward to reading your other works involving Silver.

I do have a rather trivial question, but I can't help but ask. Why'd you decide to call Gold Ethan in this? Was there a reason, or was it just a whim (author's privilege?)

All in all, not a single part of this story was disappointing, and the plot idea was original (at least, I found it to be original. Though most of the Pokemon fics I've been reading are your's) And this story didn't have generic predictably, which kept it intriguing and engaging.

I look forward to reading more of your work, and review what I've read already.

Bah. I've only recently stumbled upon your fics(in fact just yesterday), but...wow? The exploration of Silver's character in this fanfic is done very nicely and I've always imagined Ethan to be Silver's saving grace - sure there's Lyra, but she came afterwards. I've always been fond of Silver as a rival as well as Green - both make a pretty lasting impression. And you kept Silver really in character too, even as he develops throughout his journey in your story.

I am deliriously tired, so I cannot offer much in the way of a story critique... but this was an excellent story, and I adore how you kept both Silver and Gold in-character the entire time. You went through the game, properly summarizing without giving too much or too little.

The ending made me melt into a goopy puddle thing. I'm not entirely sure how a goopy puddle thing is typing, but know that it is because it feels you need to be appreciated for writing this.

I..I don't even know what to say. You portrayed Silver so well in this it was nearly unbelievable. You're an amazing writer- good job!

This is gorgeous, one of the best Silver's character study I've ever seen. You portrayed his path very well, giving perfect explanations of his actions, and also his thoughts are very plausible. Congratulations, this is a wonderful fanfic and I love it ;) (and excuse me for my bad english!)
