This is really cute, I love how you justified that Sheldon loves Amy even though they don't do what usual couples do. I love the last 6 lines that tied it up together nicely. :)

I love this! It's the perfect window into Sheldon's mind, and it's strange how just for a moment, while I was reading it I felt like everything he does, his behaviour, his view of the world, made perfect sense.

I used tohave a hard time identifying with Sheldon, mainly because I don't know anyone like him, but now I feel like really do know him personally because of the TV series, and understand his character.

Anyway, it was great, please write loads more,

Nicely done! Really, I think you really captured Sheldon Cooper's character! (though due to viewer expectations the actual story writers might have him fall into the passionate love category...but oh I dunno).

I love this! The very idea of it... Sheldon experiencing a different kind of love. Awesome. And I like the pairing, it's so different to any other kind of pairing in any other show or book. It's just... right for the two of them.

And it was really well written as well!

Very different kind of story, I read it as Sheldon realising that there are more than just the usual 3 groups of people in his life, that there is room for more.

It's kind of hard to explain what I mean, but I didn't read it as a romance story, that's the easiest way of describing it xD

ah okay. i have to say, this is just perfect! i love sheldon and amy's dynamic but i can't see them ever having the kind of relationship that people tend to describe in terms of social norms. but i think you captured it perfectly. and i loved the analysis of sheldon going through his routine and explaining how it changed, and how he understands his friends feelings in an objective way, but not in an experiential way. because that's just not how he is. but the relationship he does have with amy works for him and the short version is what i wrote first: this is perfect.

Oh goodness I think you've officially become my favorite author for Shamy fic. You've captured them so perfectly, showing their affections without ever breaking their persona's along the way. It just makes me ship them all the more and the unique relationship they share, that no one can really hope to understand.
