I’ve never played mage Hawke, but I really enjoyed how you had her meet Justice here.

This was so beautifully written. You captured the push and pull of their relationship absolutely perfectly, and her conversation with Justice and the resulting actions later were completely unexpected but so, so in character and perfect. I've always shipped anders and blood mage Hawke, but the way you've written it with such depth and purpose is just incredible.

What a beautifully written story!

I think the most impressive thing about this piece is what you manage to accomplish in so few words. It is absolutely striking and one of the most successfully powerful things I've read in far too long. I'm in utter awe. When I initially saw the short sections, I was not expecting it to have an impact.

And I have to say that you have powerfully captured the other characters almost perfectly. They are very true to the companions in game. Amazing, truly.

Sorry, I keep gushing, which makes me a rather poor reviewer. This chapter is the one that will make me keep reading. I'm now adequately piqued and curiously entranced by your Hawke and her plight.

It gave me a modicum of comfort for the endng but nevertheless stories on these two are always a delight! Looking forward to future updates3

Ha~ You write them so well I had to go and read this one too. I have less to say, since I've said most of it already, but you really have a talent with endings, you know? Warm in all the right places. And amazing one-liners (Which mak anything better, in my opinion 8D). I liked the descriptions of them parting with Aveline and the others. I bet that it really must have been very hard for Hawke indeed. I'm admittedly a little iffy about the blood magic, but I can't say I'd do any differently in her situation.

Still, once again a very nice little story here!

Girls always fall for the bad ass!... Justice is a 1%, the rebel, who isn't attracted to guy who glows blue and kicks ass? Not some wimpy, too much hairspray, self-righteous prince... I say nay!... I loved how you caused Marian to acknowledge where her power comes from, where it always came from... the heart.

I so totally, absolutely loved this. In made me hurt in all the right places, and even managed to have an upbeat ending.

To me, your descriptions of Hawke's pain, and her bleeding heart were nothing less than brilliant.
