Oh, honey! Damn, that was good! This story sounded good in my head too. :) I definitely enjoyed! There are so many things I want to delve into about this fic, but the part where she realized she can't overanalyze and rationalize her feelings away when he's near her...that right there is WHY Daria and Trent work. Fantastic job!

Wow the sexual tension was great in the first half. And I love the conversation with Jane teasing her and their usual banter.
Trent is unusually sappy and sweet but it doesn't feel completely out of character. He's still Trent.
You should add the word 'know' in "You already 'know' how I feel" but beyond that I thought it was good. Tom was treated a little unfairly I thought but let's be honest he wasn't that beloved by most of the fandom (well I haven't talked to anyone that really liked him).
Anyway good story!

This was perfectly Daria and Trent. I'd read it again and again if you could do a sequel... and I doubt others would object to that!

Good story. I don't think Tom would take a job to cover his father's medical bills. One they're rich, and two Tom seems too spoiled. I'd believe that he took a job because his dad got mad and cut him off, but that's a minor criticism.
