Derek chapter 1 . 5/27/2019 Kim saying to Ron come to our treehouse for some r and r |
Mahler Avatar chapter 1 . 3/23/2012 This was absolutely hilarious. It started out seemingly as a taut drama/mystery but then got progressively funnier, especially when Ron accidentally burns down not one, not two, but THREE buildings. And with a single pebble! Wonderful misdirection, and a cautionary tale to GJ about their mission numbering conventions. Great job! MA |
Taechunsa chapter 1 . 10/19/2011 Lol! This was a riot. I absolutely love Ron's distraction. That was perfect. Only Ron could throw a single pebble and end up burning down three buildings. The GJ number code was a great touch as well. I loved the fact that they actually had a code for Ron's random scenario. Then Wade's refusal to ride back with an amorous Ron and Kim because he didn't want to be scarred for the twenty-fourth time. I loved it. Excellent work. |
Slipgate chapter 1 . 3/28/2011 Let's see, things I could tell you in a review that I haven't likely already told you... I think you do a good job of showing Kim's capability in the early battle. At first I was as puzzled as the "sniper" in how easy it would be to take down Kim, but then the battle scene you wrote worked really well for just how outmatched they were if they hadn't had things like that flashbang grenade in her face on their side. Reading it now, Kim wearing her rocket-powered rollerblades reminds me a little of when Kim was in the sealed container in the water under the glacial ice and lucked out to be wearing the "class ring" Wade had gotten her. That little self-confident, "Remind me what this ring does again, Wade?" moment, if you will. Kim good at picking locks doesn't really surprise me - although it fell a bit to the wayside for the comedy of the show, the show very much started on the principle of how Kim was bright and not just good at fighting. Look at how she detectives out what to do about Prince Wally (wanting to research the tapestry or mural or whatever it was in that episode)... and in So the Drama, as a callback to the idea that Kim figured out Drakken's schemes, they had him working several different seemingly random and minor angles so that Kim would be really struggling to figure it out, and then as insurance policy made sure she was distracted from worrying about Drakken other than resolving the "little" sitches that came up, not knowing that they were building to an endgame at which he was actually succeeding. I've already told you about the horrible, horrible mis-assumption I made about midway through the story. Hey, it was the title! :P |
BlueLion chapter 1 . 3/26/2011 Hilarious, but a little unlikely. And, seriously, GJ is really put into a rather incompetent light here. One little error to correct: I told I should have brought the Wade-bot make that: I told you I should have ... |
Data Seeker chapter 1 . 3/23/2011 Hi Great fic. The quality is superb. Superb narration, dialog, interaction, depth, drama, suspense, romance and humor. Also, your misdirection was clever. You even had a misdirection in the misdirection, to fool those who would see something up. The characters; Kim, Ron, Wade and others (who don’t play a big role in this fic) are done brilliantly in character. I won’t go into detail since the story is too complicated to flatter properly. The basic story is good; involving a miscommunication between Kim Possible and GJ, due to a mistake on Agent Will Du was very amusing, complex, and very slapstick. The ending bit with Kim and Ron (after the confusion was resolved) was sweet. As for the Agent who was locked and chained in an uncomfortable fashion, I’m glad you didn’t forget her and she got released. I dislike when stories forget details like that before ending. The wholesome standards are high. The language is clean. Nothing is suggestively offensive. No extreme violence or any other vile content. I hope this review brightens your day. God bless. Boris Yeltsin chapter 1 . 3/23/2011 LOL, funny stuff. The bit with Dr. Director and her family was freaken silly! |
Pinky Jo Curlytail chapter 1 . 3/23/2011 A chilling treatise on the dangers of bureaucracy. Just kidding! This story was too funny. A great comedy of errors; it really felt a lot like the humor we know and love from the show. Great job. |
Redemtion13 chapter 1 . 3/23/2011 Awesome story, did not see the global justice twist coming at all, or the Will Du one. Really fun to read. |
readerjunkie chapter 1 . 3/23/2011 Nice one shot story reader. |
Mr. Wizard chapter 1 . 3/23/2011 Now that was a fun one. The shift between the taunt opening and the inanity behind it all was priceless. Ron will definitely need to tone down the distractions as well. (And Wade may never, ever, want to leave his room again.) |
Jimmy1201 chapter 1 . 3/22/2011 Great job - the way you used Ron's distraction to shift gears from drama to humor was inspired. |
Katsumara chapter 1 . 3/22/2011 Awesome work here with this one, Reader! Enjoyed it immensely. :D Keep up the great work! |
CajunBear73 chapter 1 . 3/22/2011 Unable..to..review...laughing...too...hard! LOL! But leave it to Ron to have a distraction go waaayy out of control. And Kim to make short work of whatever she gets into. Will's got some pretty whack cataloging to do, especially when Betty gets back from home cooking with Shelly. Loved that chaos getting even further out of control. CB73 |
James MacPherson chapter 1 . 3/22/2011 Leave it to Ron to try and distract people, only to cause a lot of chaos in the process. |
