I liked this. Sam having comittment issues makes sense. What to do with them. Well, she either gradually overcomes them or lets them pull her down and keep her down. The latter is angst ridden pit that only the masochistic would enjoy. Here you have her pain be relatively short lived and thanks for that. Too often these stories end with a parting of the ways.
