Love it! "Death" was hilarious, a bit dottery just like Dumbledore only kind and actually well-meaning, and he purposefully gave Severus a chance to save himself.

Oh, this was fun: Death being all polite and British, Severus being annoyed, and Hermione being fiery. Plus, my daughter's name is Ariel - so I obviously loved that, too! Thanks! :)

Trust a Gryffindor-dramatics first, first aid later. But this was good. Also, the Snape family seems to be *North* English, which means the ritual worship of Man U, football riots, and mass quantities of beer; a tea-sucking southerner is just the sort to get up Snape's nose.

But I loved this, it was perfect.

Got a bit of teary laugh here.
Though if Snape had been Welsh, his name would probably be Syvrrys Synyppe..

Speaking of Lord Peter Wimsey I recall one of his middle names was Death.

Such a brilliant and hilarious story. Liked the happy ending but loved Death's monologue - made so much more entertaining by imagining him as Barmy F-P!

I like it! Very sweet. Your Angel of Death reminds me of the character of soul courier from an old war-time movie (david nivin?) called a matter of life and death or some such.
