Epic Story! I wonder, did you end up winning that competition? I loved Lucius's annoyance and pride as well as Luna and her father's strangeness. I think the characters were quite similar to how J.K. Rowling intended them to be.

thank you for pointing out this charming fic! i wouldn't have known had you not told me. i tend to just read the "pairings" tag and skip it if it's not lucius/narcissa. lol.

you really have a way with subtle humor and, similar to your other lucissa fics, characterization is consistent. i love that the Malfoys are such incurable snobs and that Narcissa plays the part of a perfect hostess. quite a challenging prompt but you pulled it off remarkably. :)

I have relatives like Xenophilius: they annoy the hell out of you, yet you always end up having to talk to them and they're NO BLOODY WAY TO GET RID OF THEM. I love Narcissa in this, how she's so completely oblivious to her husband's irritation.

I feel the greatest sympathy for Lucius. I think the Lovegood family will drive me quite mad too. Though, I have to confess that Luna doesn't annoy me in the films. I think she can be quite sweet...

It was a very interesting read and I like the way you developed the plot. I love Narcissa's attitude about how she wanted Lucius to reconnect with his family and wouldn't listen to a word that Lucius said. It was nice seeing Narcissa presented in a different way because she seemed to have some sort of control over Lucius if that makes sense, but in most fanfictions you see Lucius being the one who is in charge.

I love the way you presented the Lovegoods! They were just as random and slightly strange as always and I liked Lucius's reactions.

Thanks so much for writing it! :D I love how aggravated Lucius is and how Narcissa thinks it's absolutely lovely to have discovered some new family members. Luna's and Xeno's dress robes are perfect, and I love the snaild and the Snorkack discussion and the orange blossoms and Lucius almost AK-ing Xeno and just all of it really!

This was HILARIOUS. I loved it ;) the Lovegood sounded every bit as if they were on crack, which means they are wonderfully in character, Lucius' wrath was very well done and Narcissa was so... lol. Sweet.
