This is pure brilliance from the first word on. In the first paragraph - Katniss is so hard, so cold, and so *perfectly* Collins's Katniss seen through outside eyes, and then she softens so gradually, and so incompletely, that it's easy to believe she's *real.*

This is very nice. I love the little insights into Katniss' life after the war. I loved Haymitch hunting the squirells and that you included a scene where Peeta has a flashback. I think some people forget that he struggles with that at times.

Wow, this was fantastic! I loved the way you captured Katniss, especially in those first two paragraphs. I also adored the dialogue and interactions between Haymitch and Katniss.
