I like your story but its to americanized. Victoria's secret and LA? that plaxe doesnt even exist in Soul Eater. Try sticking to the story more and make up a place and make it original or just research about soul eater a bit more

I figured out what was bothering me about the story (besides the pacing) it was the names of the stores and how it was incorporated. It was made out to look like an important plot point. Writing out a department store or high end boutique would have been sufficient. Or anything really but it didn't fit with the world you were trying to create. However, it was a pretty decent story.
