Just one correction, because it threw me right at the moment where I didn't want to be thrown: "Your smile. It's nice to see." If it would make sense to say "you are" in the sentence, "you're" is what you want; if it wouldn't, then "your" is the word. (I have the feeling you actually know this, because by and large your editing is excellent, but like I say, it occurred right at the moment where I didn't want to be thinking like an editor.)

Very lovely little story. You have a really nice handle on Castiel's voice. And it's great to have Sam get together with Sara (even though the Gabriel of your author's notes would probably object), because no question she's the best canonical character for him. Well, the best living canonical character. (Did you read "The First Year" by cloudyjenn? Besides being a wonderful Destiel romance, it has a SENSATIONAL OFC for Sam.)

I agree with cas it was simple and sweet, I liked it :) Also I don't think gabe is truly dead. Did you not notice all those subtle hints in last week's episode. They had candy everywhere for one and second of all remember when raphael's war angel went all shooting crazy and there was that one guy that was blurry but seriously looked like gabe in the backgroud. Also remember when that same dude dodged all of the bullets the angels shot and then walked away. If that is not gabe then who else would it be?
