Myra109 chapter 1 . 2/17/2018 I love this story. Not only is it a good idea, but it's also well written. I enjoyed reading it. Considering it was a new fandom for you, you did a very good job on this story. |

freakqueen chapter 1 . 12/24/2015 such a lovely, bittersweet story. Cosmo and Wanda are way better parents to Timmy then his own (their terrible) so who can blame him, and you can tell they love him just as much too. really good job. |

Mia M. Turner chapter 1 . 6/30/2012 Just absolutely wonderful. Fluff is my favorite genre in the FOP fan fic universe, and it's so difficult to find well-written work when it comes to children's shows. This fit the bill of what I've been craving to read; it was just perfect. So fluffy, so tragic, so much of EXACTLY what I'm pleased to find everyone seems to agree with: Cosmo and Wanda make so much better parents to Timmy than his own mother and father do. Though to be honest, I've never been fond of the whole "Cosmo and Wanda adopt Timmy" stories just because it seems so out of place, but that's what I loved so much about this story. Instead of making the concept seem like something normal that happens to fairies and their godchildren everyday, you realistically explained how it's never supposed to happen, and never WILL happen, and that's what makes this story so beautifully tragic. One has to wonder how many other fairies out there in the universe have felt the same way about their godchildren. (I wonder this when I watch the show all the time; being a godparent seems to be nearly a decade commitment per kid; I can't imagine not getting attached to a godchild like they were your own son or daughter in that amount of time. Cosmo even mentioned in Fairly Odd Baby that godkids are assigned to fill the void of fairies not being allowed children of their own.) I also love the confusion among them about avoiding being parental figures, even though it seems kids typically get fairies to fill exactly that void. Anyway, this turned into a ramble, but bottom line: great story, wonderfully written, just what I was looking for. Thank you for sharing your talent with us! |
lambtastic chapter 1 . 11/27/2011 we all know that timmy's real parents aren't intensionally ignoring timmy but they should grow up an take care of their kid instead of running off to some resort:( great story. I totally feel timmy's desire for his parent's love. I was on tumblr looking up timmy stuff and one of the post showed timmy's dad saying to his face or implying that his dreams died when he was born:( |
