... This is Yaoi, isn't it? I suppose I should be used to it, but it would have been so nice to find a well written, good plot, non-Yaoi story. Well, I don't usually read Yaoi, but this isn't really that bad... It's not horribly obvious, or ridiculously over-kill. I like how half of the chapter was the past; so it explains why Atem is in an island in the middle of nowhere. Good job!

:P I really liked how Duke (I use the dubbed names because their easier to spell) mentioned the myth that the aliens built the pyramids. Atem's expression would have been priceless!

And quick question, I can't tell, but is this a yoai story? (Yugi and Atem) I can't tell. At times it just seems like their bond is super strong and they're acting like brothers, but at another times, it doesn't. I'm okay with either, I don't care. But, I would just like to know.

I really like this and I can't wait to see where you take it :) I see in your profile that teasing is your limit with pairing, so though I wish for more, your plot makes up for it. I LOVE how you've researched so much for this. It's so full. Unlike some stories out there, this would be a stew rather than weak soup (do my food analogies make any sense?).

One thing I would have liked is English translations of everything, just as a note at the bottom or something, because try as I might, I can't find anything that will translate all of the words, only some of them :(

One thing that sets you above the rest is your excellent grammar as well as a very full writing style. You know how to write!

I laughed at Atem's reaction to when someone said the pyramids were buolt by aliens. I agree with him on that one, I think it's stupid. I even heard stories about how the capstone on the great pyramid is supposed to activate an alient divice inside of it. Again, I think that is bs.

I like how you describe the pyramid in acient times. I heard about the pyramid looking about that in acient times. It would be cool to see them when they were first built.

As a side note, I'm extremly sorry about not being able to join that one chat room. I tried to jion it, but the program took to much space on my computer. I'll let you know when it works.

*chuckles at the image of Yugi riding a moped* I wonder how Yugi manages to stuff all that hair under his helmet :). Yes, I'm back and I'm not dead. This is a nicely written chapter, ESPECIALLY with the ancient Egyptian writing. You are the first person I've seen to have the characters speak with Ancient Egyptian, and if they have, it is usually translated and not written like yours. I did see a couple of errors though, not with the Egyptian, mind you :). You misspelled 'peel' as peal and adrenaline as well, but nothing else that I see.

And again, kudos to you for your efforts on the ancient Egyptian. I would love to have the link/title for the site/book you used. I usually use a book that comprises of all Egyptian mythology. I always drew an issue with the naming of Set, but I won't rant... lol
