This is completely and utterly sweet, sprinkled with lots of tantalizing little details (Lanie knows football!) and puns (Ernie and Bert) and banter (Castle in drag) that really made it come to life. I think these two work wonderfully here, and I think this is a really true look at how they could have gotten to where they are.

I'd love if there was more to it, but if not, this was a wonderful moment all on its own. Well done!

This is a great story! I'm only catching up with Castle myself and was instantly hooked by Esposito and Parish. This story is definately one of my favourites out of the few which are around.

You've captured their characters well and I can imagine them so clearly. I sincerely hope that you put the second part of this up sometime.:)

I jumped over to your profile and realised that I recognized your name from my brief foray into reading Mentalist fic last year - I'm so glad that you've branched out into Castle!

All of your stories are some of the little pieces of gold I've found on this site (and I love that bit on your profile, by the way). You do such a good job of capturing Lanie and Esposito's voices, and this is (aside from the little L/E spoiler in Poof!) a very realistic way of how they as a couple might start.

I look forward to the second part of this and another wonderful round of banter and great characterization. I adore your work and hope that you keep writing. :D
