it is an amazing story i think what stood out was the feelings and descriptions in it

Your descriptions are so powerful! This is a different interpretation of Lily, and I like it! You explain everything, and make her decisions almost rational! Very well written.

I loved this and the way Lily loves him but knows she can't have him so she does the next best thing. A little thief she is. Beautiful! I loved the descriptiveness of this and the characterization. This was amazing!

This is beautifully written. Your Lily/Victoire game is really cleverly managed. I loved the characterisation here.

They feel very natural, very real and vivid. The attraction Teddy has from Lily and Victoire is very well written. There is something intimate in this fic, I can't pin-pint what though.

The memories are great and really add layers to this fic. You did a fantastic job!

You already know I loved this ) But now I can tell you why I loved it without running out of characters! XD

First of all, thank you sosososo much for writing this for me, especially since I know you hate Next Gen! I really, really loved it for the incredible writing, but I would have loved it anyway because it's mine P

Now, while I don't normally characterize Lily like this, I actually enjoyed her b*tchy personality and how she stole a kiss from Teddy and how she actually enjoyed the theft instead of having a guilty conscience about it. She was somehow a girl I both hated personally and loved reading about.

Teddy, oh, Teddy was masterfully done, how he was oblivious and then horror-struck and too cowardly to tell Victoire and I feel that, even though this wasn't from his POV, you still captured his emotions perfectly through Lily's eyes.

I really enjoyed the rivalry between Victoire and Lily, too! Your word choice when describing them-'the golden first-born' and 'the fiery little baby'-was impeccable and amazing and really summed them up well. The first paragraph was also full of amazingness and it introduced me to your Lily and her motivations really well, which is, of course, important D

The ending was incredibly-written and...I suppose 'bittersweet' would be the word for it. I think you chose to end it at the perfect spot, where it's sort of open-ended but it also explains what they're all going to do-Teddy's never going to tell Victoire, Lily's going to watch them and be smug, Victoire's going to keep pretending that she's not oblivious-and it fit with their characters and just was wonderfully-written. Actually, the whole thing was wonderfully-written, as I may have made obvious D

So, to conclude this, I really, really loved the entire story, even though I hate Teddy/Lily, but your writing was amazing! And thank you sooooo much! &hearts I loved it!

Oh. My. Goodness. So... yeah. Honestly, I've read Teddy/Lily fics before, and even though I've really liked some of them, most of them seemed a little... fake to me, like there's no way their relationship could ever really happen.

This, however, is brilliant and real and one of the best Teddy/Lily stories (I can only think of one other that really made them work for me)... I honestly can't even come up with words to describe how amazing this is. You really can /write/ first of all. I love the way you described the rivalry between Lily and Victoire, with fabulous lines like, "Girls like her were almost always one of a kind in a family, a generation." and "It didn't matter that Rose was the real brain in the family, or that Dominique was the only Slytherin. It didn't matter that Molly was the kindest by nature, or that Roxanne was the funniest; the rivalry had always been between her and Victoire. Always." Your Lily is an amazing character - I kind of hate her, in a way, but I'd also like to read an entire novel about her. And you did a great job with Victoire - that's the other thing with Teddy/Lily stories - a lot of them seem to demonize Victoire, but you really steered clear of that. I love how Lily eventually "steals" a kiss from Teddy, and how he's always kind of nervous around her after that (brilliant line - "she took a malicious pleasure in the way that his hand would always snake around her, too tight, and his voice would be filled with mirth to compensate for the guilt blocking the back of his throat.") And I completely adored the title, and how Lily is "The Theif."

I've written one of my longest reviews ever, and I still feel I'm not doing this justice. Ah, well. I'll be favoriting this, and adding you to my Favorite Authors list, because your writing is genius. ;)
